Chapter 4

  I stayed still frozen in shock as his words kept replaying in my mind. 'I'll be back.'  He said it with such authority that it frightened me to the core. 

  I felt two arms wrap around me from the front and jumped. "Are you okay?" I nodded into Louis' shoulder and wrapped my arms around his very muscled back as he squeezed me lightly. He pulled me away to look down at me arms length. "You're not safe any more." My eyes widened. "He was a villain and now knows about you and will most likely tell the other villain about you so they can use you against me, but I won't let that happen." "Wh-at is his n-ame?" My voice shook with sudden fright raking through my body. I may be a superhero, but I am not invincible. "That was Niall." I nodded and rested my head back into Louis' shoulder. I didn't show him that I had superpowers so that could be used to my advantage. 

  "I need to call the others now that he knows about you." I nodded once again and he pulled away and walked towards the kitchen. I suddenly got an eerie feeling that I was being watched causing a chill to run down my spine. I turned around and saw nothing so I looked all around the room before my eyes landed on the window. I gasped and took a couple steps back. Niall was standing in the shadows before he came into the light, winked, and disappeared back into the shadows. 

  I heard talking coming closer so I quickly tried to resolve myself before Louis saw me. How long had he been standing there? Had he heard Louis' and I's conversation? 

  My mind whirled with questions before being interrupted by Louis. "They should be here in a few minutes." "Did you tell them?" He shook his head. "I just told them to come quickly and alone." I nodded and leaned against the back of the couch wrapping my arms around myself. "Hey. Hey. Everything is going to be okay." He swiftly came over and rubbed the side of my arms in an attempt to make me feel better and even though he may be my brother and superman, I still didn't. There was something about that villain, something bad that had my brother stopped. He must have some crazy kind of powers if he stopped my brother from getting to me. I don't think any assurance could make me feel better at this point. To me now it's all just a matter of time. 

  I heard a loud knock on the door snapping me once again from my thoughts and causing me to look up as Louis answered it. "Come in." Two tall figure walked into the room and there heads all snapped to me with wide eyes. I coughed nervously and shifted my weight back and forth. 

  "Zayn, Harry, this is Leah. My sister." I awkwardly waved as they stood still in shock. "Your what?" I'm assuming Zayn asked. "My sister." Harry took a couple steps forward and I pressed myself against the back of the couch. "Why have we never known about her?" Harry whispered only a foot away from me. "For the sake of her safety, but now it is at risk. Niall found out about her." Zayn's eyes widened even more and Harry dared to take another step like he was mesmerized with me and it was starting to freak me out. He reached his hand out to touch the side of my face and I instantly slapped it away when I felt sparks coming from it. Harry shook his head and looked down before finally stepping away.
