Chapter 6

  After about an hour of listening to the boys talk and having Harry steal admiring glanced I was tired.  "Well, I'm off to bed. Goodnight." Louis nodded as he walked over to me giving me a huge squeeze. "Everything will work out for the best." He kissed my forehead and sent Zayn to be my "bodyguard" outside of my bedroom door. I rolled my eyes, groaning in frustration before stomping up the steps without another syllable. "Goodnight, Leah." I waved with a half smile before closing my door and slumping down it. 

  I want to escape and see the world. I mean they already know about me so, what's the difference. Maybe I could try tonight. There is something that Louis seemed to forget about my room and I honestly don't know why I've never thought of it before. There is a small window in my bathroom, but it is large enough for my small body to squeeze through. 

  I smiled evilly and sprinted human speed to my closet. I flung the doors open forgetting about my strength and causing one of the doors to come off the hinges. "Oops." I chuckled and set the door down. I grabbed the small bag that my stepmother gave to me down from the top shelf and tossed it onto my bed with a plop. I scanned my closet for several outfits that would be acceptable and not suspicious. I grabbed a pair of yoga shorts and an oversized, long sleeved shirt that came a little past the top of my thigh for my nighttime wear and tossed them on my bed. I took out a pair of ripped skinny jeans, a pair of denim shorts, a pair of black leggings, an oversized sweatshirt that came to mid thigh that had a name tag with 'Hello my name is Unicorn' on it, a black tank top with a comic bubble that said 'OMG', a superman short sleeved shirt, a blue and purple superman SnapBack, my converse, several pairs of socks, and undies. 

  If you haven't noticed Louis tends to buy me quite a bit of superman stuff as ironic as it is. I giggled to myself and packed them all away in the bag with several other essentials such as toothbrush, deodorant, etc. I didn't have a cell phone or any electronic device for that matter as I wasn't allowed to have contact with the outside world. I only had my telepathy with the people I cared most about which now was only my brother. 

  I was still in my outfit from earlier and figured that would suffice. I walked into the bathroom and pulled open my shower curtains looking up at the window. I sighed and thought of a way my short body would get through it. I reached up as far as I could feeling for the latch and successfully popped it open before pushing it all the way open with my fingertips. 

  I pushed my bag through the small hole with minor difficulty and know now that there is indeed a roof there which caused me to release a sigh of relief. I gripped onto the bottom of the window and used my superhuman strength to haul myself up and out with success. I did a mental cheer and dance, but remained silent and still as I quietly shut the window closed again. I picked up my bag wrapping it around my shoulders as I walked across the roof in silence. I walked to the edge to see the front door and a street. It seemed to be in a neighborhood as there were several houses lined up either side of me and across the street. I walked to the other edge to see a backyard fenced in and woods. 

  I figured the woods would be my best bet to remain hidden. I crouched down and hopped off as silent as possible. I pause a moment to be sure no one heard me before hopping the fence and booking it superhuman speed to the entrance of the woods.
