Chapter 16

  I screamed as Niall jerked me back and Stephanie stood in front of us with a force field in front of her. Liam jumped forward pulling his sword out and swung at Zayn. Zayn swung his leg around knocking Liam back a few steps. Zayn was a skilled martial artist and he had enhanced reflexes which was a great advantage, but Liam was a skilled swordsman and had enhanced senses. Louis used his heat vision to try and penetrate Stephanie's force field, but wasn't successful. Harry held Maria back as the fight continued between Liam and Zayn. Liam had slashed Zayn once across his arm and I could see blood dripping from it, but it didn't cause him to falter any. Zayn had hit Liam multiple times in his side and face leaving visible marks. 

  Louis ran around Stephanie using his super speed and picked her up off the ground causing her to loose focus on the force field. Niall held me back tightly in his arms so that I couldn't escape, but it was almost in a protective way. Louis tossed Stephanie easily to the side causing her to hit her head hard on the ground and pass out with a grunt. Louis walked angrily towards us and Niall finally stood up ready to fight to keep me from my brother. Niall stood in front of me as I lay on the ground on my side. I scrambled to my feet and peered around him. I knew he wouldn't let me by until he was distracted fighting with my brother. I knew for a fact that my brother would win so I wasn't worried that much. 

  'As soon as I start this, run to Harry.'

  I nodded my head and he remained focused on Niall. Louis took another large step forward so that he was only a few inches away from Niall. Niall jumped at Louis but Louis quickly shoved him away causing him to land a few inches away from me. I let out a small shriek and jumped away. 

  'Go!'

  I looked up and ran towards Harry. I passed by Liam and Zayn who were still swinging at each other. While I was turned away from them I felt someone tackle me from behind and cause me to fall to the ground with a scream. I looked up to see Stephanie on top of me. A cold smirk crossed her face and she punched me in the gut making me let out an oomph. I was very aware of the guns she had in the holsters on her hips. She was a skilled marks woman and I took that into consideration of fighting with her. I shoved her off of me quickly causing her to fly a bit back due to my inhuman strength. I smirked to myself and was ready to jump onto her when she tried to stand. 

  I felt something slice my back open making a loud scream to leave my lips. I fell to my knees in agony as the pain coursed through my body. An unwilling tear left my eye and I slowly turned around to see Liam standing in shock with Zayn beside him staring at me. My breathing became slow and I wasn't sure now if my body could heal this big of a cut. I felt my eyes roll back into my head and I fell onto my stomach. 

  "No!" I heard multiple voices shout before loosing consciousness.
