"You've been acting different lately."

Because things just aren't the same.

"You haven't talked to me in days."

What am I supposed to say. My words would break your heart.

"You know, we used to be closer."

I know.

"What happened to us, Dan."

We're going in circles, Phil. That's what happened.

"It's like we are strangers again."

Right back where we started. In a circle.

"Tell me that you're ok. Tell me I'm still your best friend. Tell me nothing's wrong. If something is wrong TELL ME. I'm begging you, Dan to just, talk to me again."

I'm not going to lie to you and say everything's ok. I'm not going to talk to you, and not mean a word I'm saying. I'm not going to go in circles with you. Not anymore.

"Say something to me, please."

I miss us. I'm miss looking at you and seeing Phil. Now I look at you and see my whole world. It's painful.

"Did I do something wrong?"

Of course not, I love you. You're perfect.

...

"I'll see you tomorrow, Dan. Hopefully you'll care enough to tell me what has you this way." Phil says. He then walks out the door. Tears threaten to fall at any second.

There is a sea beyond this earth.
A bluer, wider, shinier, sea.
It is filled with magical creatures.
And can only be explored by me.

I have a boat that is perfect for only this one sea.
The sea that goes forever, but doesn't run to deep...
On good days.

I have yet know.
What lurks below.

But in this sea you will not find any fish.
Everything that swims has yet to exist.

For the first time, it is quiet.
There is a planet in the sky and
The moon is shining by it.

The moon.
Over the lagoon.
It's windy and gives me a lift.
If it wasn't for my sail all I'd do is drift.

The sails never take if there is no wind.
If I had no boat I would have to swim.

As I go on to sail my one and lonely sea,
I'll sing out to you in hope the waves don't drown me.
