I was desperate for answers. He felt the same way. We were starting to drift apart, but we couldn't stay away from each other. The minute everything was better something would go wrong, and we would be stunned into suffocating silence. It was easy to ignore it, but not him. Not us. It felt like we were going in circles.

Dan and Phil decided to make a video playing Mario Kart because they'd only done it once on their gaming channel, and they really enjoyed it. There was also the fact that without Dan the gaming channel was inactive for a month. This time it wasn't a Dan vs Phil, it was just them wanting to have fun with their channel.

Dan was very distracted. His commentary was normal with the usual sarcastic comments and shouting, but he was off. It was so hard not to just stare at Phil. He looked at Phil more than the screen sometimes, and Phil had beaten Dan in the first round so far. Dan had to look at the camera every so often, and talk to it to keep the connection going with the viewers. Phil seemed happy, and didn't notice Dan's inability to focus. Suddenly, he realized how bad an idea making a video together was.

If you keep flirting and staring at Phil the viewers are sure to notice. Do you know how they will react? They will scream and freak out. The comments will explode. Screenshots will overtake your tumblr and "Heart Eye Howell" memes will be crawling around Twitter. The fanart will be at an all time high, and there will most DEFINITELY be fanfiction written about this video. Wait. Did he even really care? They're most likely going to do that anyway. Plus, a little creative writing never hurt anyone.

Dan let out a breath of relief. Anything flirty will probably be looked on as normal behavior. He starts to ramble and shout at the game in hopes it will pass for funny commentary. Phil was laughing which was a good sign.

He looks at Phil who is biting his lip in concentration. He looked perfect in every way with the way the light caught his kaleidoscope eyes in their shades of blue and green. His hair was a so soft looking, and it was beautiful the way it's dark color contrasted against his pale white complexion. His lips were such a perfect pink-

"I WON, I WON, I WON." Phil shouted interrupting Dan's thoughts. He looks away from Phil, and blushes slightly. Dan reacted quickly enough to not raise suspicion that we wasn't really paying attention. Well, he hoped he did.

"Oh wow. Congratulations you won at something, finally! Good job, Phil."
Dan said, his voice oozing sarcasm. But he smiled and clapped his hands slowly.

"You're just jealous because I kicked your ass." Phil said tauntingly. Phil almost never swore, but there something hot about it when he did. Shut up brain focus, Dan thought.

Dan gasped. "PHILIP LESTER!" He said pretending to have a heart attack. Phil started to laugh.

Dan turned to the camera. "Guys, Phil is becoming vulgar, and I blame Mario Kart. It is a game that will change you and your friends don't play it if you hold any relationships dear to your heart. This is a warning for the good of the people." He said, making Phil laugh harder.

"Aww. Do you hold our relationship dear to your heart, Dan." Phil said smugly. Or was it in a sweet Phil way? It was hard to tell. Dan looked Phil right in the eyes. Of course Phil you mean the world to me.

"No." Dan said, and looked at the camera with a monotone look in his features.

Phil gave a pouty face to the camera, and Dan laughed. "I'm hurt, Dan." Phil said disappointedly. He had his bottom lip sticking out, and his eyes glistening. It was just adorable. He was obviously joking, but a sad looking Phil was a broken heart for many.

"I'm just kidding, Phil. Don't pull that pout it's too cute." Dan said smiling, not really thinking.

Phil laughed, and hit Dan in the arm. "Shut up." He said.

Dan laughed at him, and Phil started to end the video. Dan found himself hoping Phil was just as happy as he was.
