"WHY WON'T YOU JUST TELL ME WHO IT IS?"

"BECAUSE IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, DAN."

"OH YEAH?"

"YEAH!"

"I'M YOUR BEST FUCKING FRIEND YOUR BUSINESS IS MY BUSINESS, HO! YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT WHEN YOU ENTERED THIS RELATIONSHIP!"

"OH, PLEASE! THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE. WHY CAN'T YOU TELL ME WHO YOU WERE IN LOVE WITH THIS PAST MONTH? IS IT FAIR, AS YOUR BEST FRIEND, I KNOW AS MUCH AS EVERYONE ELSE?"

"Phil I can't tell you...cause'...no."

"Exactly. If you don't have to tell me everything then I don't have to tell you everything, DANNY BOY."

"This is different, Phil." Please just understand.

"How?"

It just is! You wouldn't understand! I love you. You don't love me. I need to know. I feel like I'm in second place to someone else.

Phil smirked at Dan who was absolutely speechless. This was a fight solved without using "Hello, Internet" as a cringe attack. But it wasn't over. Dan soon got angry at Phil's mocking(yet attractive)smirk, and stood up. Phil wasn't going to win this. Dan was going to know who it was.

"PHIL, JUST TELL ME WHO THIS SUPPOSED "BEAUTIFUL" GUY WAS YOU WERE DROOLING OVER, BECAUSE IF HE IS REALLY IN THE PAST YOU WOULD HAVE NO ISSUE TELLING ME WHO HE WAS."

It was a crush of the past right? Neither of them knew anymore.

"YOU KNOW DAN YOU'RE MAKING ME REALLY MAD FOR NO REASON. WHAT DOES IT MATTER WHO HE IS? YOU'RE ACTING LIKE A JEALOUS GIRLFRIEND OR SOMETHING, GEEZ."

Dan's face flushed red with both anger, and embarrassment. "PHILIP MICHEAL LESTER I FUCKING HATE YOU!" Dan yelled grumpily. He pulled a tiny pout, and crossed his arms. He didn't know if it was because of how cute Phil looked when he was mad, or if it was because Phil wasn't tell him who it was, but Dan was irritated.

"OH YEAH? WELL I HATE YOU TOO!" Phil shouted at Dan. They stared at each other for a couple seconds with narrowed eyes and stuck out bottom lips. They could both see the flaming anger in each others eyes.

Suddenly, they burst into a fit of uncontrollable laughter. They were holding onto their sides barely able to breathe. They were wheezing at how extremely childish and stupid they sounded when they fought. Neither of them could stop laughing if they looked each other in the face. After 3 minutes of non-stop giggling and laughing their lungs out, Dan finally spoke.

"Phil, you know I actually love you right? I was just kidding." He did a mixture of a cough and a laugh, but there was sincerity. Trying to stop laughing was hard.

Phil laughed. "Yeah, I don't hate you either."

Not an I love you back? Dan pushed that from his mind. He really needed to get over Phil.

"We sounded like 5 year-olds fighting over a toy truck." Dan said after having fully calmed down.

"We did," Phil said smiling. He kind of actually enjoyed moments like this. The blanketing calm after laughing with your best friend. When silence filled the air for a while he continued with, "How about we play Mario Kart, and forget that stupid fight happened?"

Dan smiled, "What fight? Everything is ace."

"Oh, don't even start with me Dan." Phil said laughing. He then blushed a little for no reason.

I stood there wishing you could read my mind. I couldn't let the words aching to slip past my lips escape my tongue. I just couldn't.
The things I so badly wanted to tell you, the things I was going to say, were muffled by your smile. The acid rose and shifted, and I couldn't say a word.

I watched you talk while I became my own worst enemy before your eyes. And you had no idea.
