I walked out of my room and into the kitchen after sleeping in way too late. I made lunch and called for Allison. She didn't come out so I walked down the hall and knocked on the door. "Alli?" I asked. No answer. I opened the door and she wasn't in there. I looked around her room and under her bed. She was no where. I saw something sitting on her night stand. It was a note that read,

Mom,

I'm going to see dad in L.A. Don't get mad at him, he doesn't know I'm coming. I'm taking a taxi to the airport and then flying out. I'm sorry that I took all your money, I just need him to know. I'll call you when I land.

I love you,

Allison

"Fuck!" I yelled. I pulled out my phone. "Hello?" he asked groggily. "Nate, is she with you?" I asked. "Huh?" he asked, confused. "Allison ran away last night but she left a note saying she is coming to see you." I said. "What?" he was now fully awake. "Hold on." he said and after a few seconds he sighed in relief. "I've got her." he said. "Put her on." I told him.
"Hello?" Allison asked. "I can't believe this, Allison! Are you kidding me? Los Angeles? Now seeing as you took all of my money, I can't come get you. I'm furious, beyond furious!" I scolded. "I know but I needed to tell him." she said "Don't say a word to him, Allison." I told her. "Put him back on." "How do you want to do this?" Nate asked. "She took all of my money to get there, So I have no way of getting there. Can you just bring her home and you can stay for a week." I said. "Of course. We'll be on the nexhttp://www.polyvore.com/maelynn_seventeen/set?id=204147356t flight out, I'll let you know what time we are supposed to land." he said. "Thank you, Nate." I said. "You're welcome."

"Okay, so, we are in an uber now. Our flight should land at seven-thirty." Nate said. "Okay, I'll be there. Thanks again." I hung up the phone and looked over at Misty. "Is she okay?" she asked. "She's with Nate. She must have overheard us talking 'cause she wanted to tell him." I told her. "Are you kidding?" "Wish I was." I said, putting my head in my hands, "She could have been kidnapped, she could have died."

Seven-thirty-six. The screen says they landed but so far I haven't seen them. I was pacing between two rows of chairs. "Mom!" I turned around and saw Allison running toward me. I hugged her and breathed out a sigh of relief. "Don't ever scare me like that," I said, near tears, "I can't lose you too."
