We walked to the front door and Nate knocked on it. Stephanie answered the door and smiled at us. "Thanks for watching her." I returned the smile. "It's no problemm, come on in Allison." Allison walked in and waved at us. We waved back and Stephanie said goodbye and closed the door. Nate and I got back into the car and. drove to the courthouse.

We walked out of the courthouse and Nate hugged me, smiling. I smiled and kissed his lips. "I love you." he said, resting his forehead on mine. "I love you too." I replied.
We got into the car and drvoe back to Mat and Stephanie's house. We went in and Allison and Mat were playing Mario Maker. "Mom, Dad!" Allison yelled, noticing us. She ran over to us and hugged both of us. We laughed and hugged her back. "You guys are cute." Mat said. I smiled over at him and Stephanie walked into the room. "You guys can stay for dinner if you want, I just finished making it." she said to us. I nodded, "Sure, thanks."
we all sat down at the table. 'So what were you doing today?" Mat asked us. "We went to the courthouse and got him his paternal rights." I smiled, grabbing Nate's hand. "That's great!" Stephanie smiled. I took a bite of my food. "Mmm, that's really good." I said. "Thanks, it's a family recipe." she replied.

"Dessert anyone?" Mat asked, standing up from the table and grabbing our plates before walking into the kitchen. He came back a minute later with plates and cake. We all had a piece of cake and once we were done Nate and I helped Mat and Stephanie clean up.
We walked out to the car and drove home. We walked in and Brett was sitting on the couch watching Pokemon. "Did you move at all today?" I asked him. He looked back at me. "Yes, actually. I got a lot of editing done." he replied. I nodded and sat down on the other couch and watched Pokemon with him. Nate came in and sat next to me. I laid down with my head in his lap. He pet my hair and I yawned, feeling myself becoming tired. I blinked my eyes rapidly, trying to keep myself from falling asleep. Nate chuckled, "Go to sleep." he smiled lightly at me, "I got you." I nodded and closed my eyes. I felt Nate kiss my head before I drifted off to sleep.
"You asked me to meet you?" I asked, sitting on the branch across from him. He nodded, looking down at the ground. "I have something to tell you." he said. "So do I." I said, "But you go first." "I'm moving to L.A." I took a deep breath, glanced down at my stomach for a second and then back up at Nate. "When?" I asked. "Tomorrow." he replied, "What is it that you wanted to tell me?" he asked. "I'm-" I stopped, faked a smile and continued, "happy for you." "Thanks," he said, kissing my lips, "we can make this work. I love you." "I love you too." I said, blinking back the tears.
He jumped down from the tree and walked off. Once he was out of sight I sat back against the trunk of the tree and pulled my knees to my chest, crying...
I woke up to tears streaming down my face, ThE tv was off and the livingroom was dark. A pair of arms were wrapped around my waist and I heard a muffled, "Are you okay?" I rolled over and snuggled into his chest. "Yeah, just a bad dream." I said, falling back to sleep.
