"Have a good day, Alli." I said as she got out of the car and walked into the school. I drove to the diner and got out of the car. I walked into the diner and put on my apron and walked to my section and started taking orders.
Around three, I was taking orders when Allison walked in the door. I pointed to the break room and she nodded, walking into the break room. I finished taking the last order and gave it to the cooks and walked into the breakroom. Allison was sitting on the couch doing her homework. I smiled and sat next to her. I took out my phone and texted Misty.
To: Misty;)
Hey, I need to talk to you and Daniel.
It took her a minute to reply,
Sure, when and where?
Tonight, my apartment, come over for dinner at five, I replied.
alright, cya then!
I went out, took a couple more orders and then walked back into the break room where my coworker, Brianna was getting ready for her shift. "Come on, Alli. Let's go home." I told Allison. She nodded, putting her stuff in her bag and standing up. We walked back out to the car and drove home.

There was a knock on the door. I ran past the couch and slid on the hardwood floor. I opened the door and there stood Misty and Daniel. I smiled at the both of them and let them in. I shut the door and slid to the kitchen. I turned off my music. "So, we are going to eat and then, us three need to talk." I said, setting a plate of food on the table, followed by three more.

"So Nate was here. I lied to him." I said. "How?" Misty asked. "I told you that I didn't want him knowing about Allison. So, I told him that Daniel is her father." Daniel nodded. "So when he comes back, if he confronts you, the story is that I cheated with you a couple days aafter the party." He nodded once more.
"Thank you Danny." I said. "Anything for you, we've been friends since you moved here in third grade." he replied. I smiled and nodded.
