We went back downstairs and found Ryan and Jen making out on the couch. I personally really didn't need to see that so we made our way to the kitchen.

We made small talk and I told him about some of my interests. How I'm on the volleyball team and that I love the color green and I pretty much am okay with any type of music except country.

I already knew he was on the football team and the basketball team, but I found out that his favorite color was also green, and that he loves to play war video games. I made fun of him for that.

We finally made our way back into the living room and fell asleep on the couch. If you're wondering, Jen's parents are constantly out of town, that's why I love going over to her house.

I woke up with a jolt in the morning. I saw everyone asleep on the couch. Ashton had his arm around me. That's when I remembered everything that happened yesterday. I wiggled my way out of his grasp and went to get my stuff from upstairs. I didn't know how to handle the situation at the time so I ran. I know that's wrong when he's now your boyfriend technically, but I was so weirded out about the happenings of last night and frankly I was ashamed. I was weak and afraid, and I showed it.

I packed up my stuff and tried my best to get out of the house without anyone noticing. I got to my car and started the engine that's when I noticed movement in my rear view mirror. I whipped around and saw Ashton sitting there with his arms crossed. "You know you really should learn to lock your doors." He said nonchalantly. I put my hand over my heart to stop it from beating so fast.

"My god! You scared the shit out of me!"

"So you were just planning on skipping out or were you in a hurry to get somewhere in your sweats and sesame street t-shirt?" He said motioning to my shirt.

"Well I was just....."

"Leaving because you are afraid." He said matter-of-fact, finishing my sentence.

"I'm not afraid!" (Yes I am.)

"Oh quit with the tough girl act! After last night we both know it's a lie." (Kind of.)

"Get out of my car." I said through my teeth.

"Aw. It that any way to treat your boyfriend." (No.)

"Oh so your saying I should break up with you then kick you out of my car." (I'm really dumb.)

"No." His smile quickly turned to a frown.

"Then get out."

"What is your problem?" (I really like you)

"I just want to go home."

"Did I do something to offend you?"

I sarcastically laughed at that. "What haven't you done to offend me?!"

"Listen Brooke I really do like you."

"Yes thank you and I like you too, now that we got that over with can I please go?" (My god I'm a bitch)

"My god can you quit being such a bitch for one second?!"

"Nope. Get out." (Wow)

He got out and slammed my door. I pulled out and I was in such a rush I almost hit the trash can. I swear I saw him laughing. I flipped him off as I drove by. In my rear view mirror I saw him double flip me off.

Okay yes that could have been handled better. Should I have? Most definitely. Did I? Obviously not. Do I need mental help? Looks like it.

At the time I just didn't know what to do. I'm not into the mushy stuff, it freaks me out so I ran. I look back on it now and think 'what an idiot!' but obviously doing the right thing and falling perfectly in love doesn't make for a god story so you have this mess of a situation.
