The auction ended and I found Ashton. "Hey." I said.

He just scowled at me. "What?" I asked.

"You shouldn't have volunteered for this."

"Ashton its fine."

"No, it's not."

"Please. Let's not fight now."

"Fine."

We got in the car with Monica. She noticed us not talking. "What's the matter you guys?"

"Nothing." I said.

"Fine."

We dropped Ashton off and went home. I buried my head in my pillows. Stupid boys.

At school things weren't much better. Ashton was still throwing a hissy fit. I don't think he'll be happy until after I finish hanging out with Jamison.

Saturday finally rolled around and I met Jamison at Java Café. We each got a coffee and went to the mall.

"So that guy with the funny bow tie; is he your boyfriend?"

"Yeah, but he's kind of upset with me right now."

"Why?"

"Because of the auction."

"Oh because he lost."

"Yeah pretty much."

"I feel kind of bad."

"It's fine. I mean there's no harm in hanging out for a day."

"True."

We walked through the mall when we came across a security guard. "You!" He said pointing at me.

I put my hands in the air, but then smiled. "Harry!" He's my buddy. He's caught me doing so much crap in the mall he's like family now.

"What are you up to this time missy? And where's the boy?"

"I don't have anything planned this time I promise!"

"Yeah you don't have anything planned, doesn't mean you're not going to do anything!"

"Ashton isn't here with me this time so don't worry." Just then I notice the plant a couple feet away almost fall but two hands caught it. I immediately recognized who it was. Ashton was hiding behind the plant. Hmmm...let's see how long he can keep this up.

"Yeah but you did a bunch of shit before he was even with you. Now that you two are together they have four people keeping an eye on you."

"Really?!" I said excitedly. "That's a new record!"

"Yeah two wasn't enough."

"Well don't worry. Ashton is nowhere near."

"Fine. But I have my eye on you. I don't think we want to have a repeat of labor day."

"Yes yes. That was unfortunate."

He did the whole I'm watching you stare and left. I looked over at Jamison and smiled.

"What was that?"

"Well I'm known to be a bit of a hand full sometimes. And my buddy harry has caught me so many times that we're on friendlier terms."

"You're a handful?"

"Yep."

"Oh." He looked a little worried. "He talked about Ashton too though."
