I got to school early just to make sure everything was set up. Ashton met me at the entrance and we went and made some final touches. There was one piece that I couldn't add until today. Once we finished we stood back to admire.

"You know it's somewhat juvenile." I commented.

"That is true but quite effective."

"Yes."

He wrapped his arm around my waist and we walked down the hallway. "Soooo...what do you want to do until people show up?" He asked winking.

"Well I know a janitor's closet that's close by."

He smiled and we went and hid in there. I turned the little bulb on.

"What have I told you?" He said. "The best things happen when the lights go out." He turned in off and I felt his soft lips on mine. Our lips moved in sync together. His hands were in my hair and mine were on the back of his neck. He slipped his hands under my shirt only on my waist. I could feel his cold hands on my skin.

We continued for a while until we heard footsteps letting us know people are here and the janitor would be back soon.

We quickly adjusted and one more swift kiss then we were out the door back over to a good spot to watch the fireworks.

We waited about ten minutes when Nicole finally got there. She laughed and talked with people. I was getting antsy. Ashton and I made it so we were close enough to see but far enough not to be a suspect. We also were pretending to be a cutesy couple to make it less suspicious.

She was finally going up to her locker. She started doing her combination. I couldn't believe how slow she was. She even screwed up once and had to start over! The anticipation was killing me. She finally got it opened, and.....nothing happened. We were confused for a second until the guy next to her, who happened to be Cliff the biggest jerk ever only he's different than Ashton because he has no sense of humor. So naturally when he opened his locker and had a green sticky mass flung at his face he didn't take it well.

"Who the hell did this?!" He screamed. Ashton and I started kissing to pretend we had no idea what happened. I don't understand it though. How could we make such a huge error! The mini catapult was perfectly set with the mixture of liquid starch and Elmer's glue, but the wrong locker! Why oh why! Now I have to think of a whole new thing because at this moment Cliff in a fit of rage is tearing apart the catapult. He's a huge football player with anger issues so that poor little catapult never stood a chance. No one wants to laugh, but yet they do.

Once Ashton and I thought it safe we hauled ass out of there. Once we got outside we got in his car just so no one could over hear us. "What happened?!" He asked.

"I feel so stupid." I said putting my head in my hands. "Well when I said Celine over heard us I meant she heard us talking and I said that I just need the combination to locker two forty four. She had that locker and I guess none of us knew Nicole was actually in two forty three."

"That's unfortunate."

"Very! I'm so pissed!"

"Although the surprised look on Cliff's face was priceless."

"True and he's so mean to everyone and thinks hurting people's feelings is funny, but when stuff happens to him he gets a taste of his own medicine, so we actually did a good deed."

"So true."

"But now we have to think of a plan B."

We heard the bell ring for class to start. "We'll discuss later." He said.
