**I just wanted to throw this in. You don't have to read it. The next mini epilogue will be longer and better i promise.**
Epilogue 1
~*~
Tasmanian Devil
"Mr. and Mrs. Patterson your daughter is a little...different."
"I'm sorry what did she do now?"
"Well, I've never had a five year old back sass me before. She is a very bright child, but she's quite rambunctious."
"I know. We had an issue when she was younger. She was three and figured out how to take her backpack leash and trip people with it."
"Well, this time she shoved a green marker up a boy's nose."
"Wow." Ashton said. "Did you ask her why?"
"Well I suppose she can explain it to you."
"Tazzy." I called her over. She was playing with the blocks. She ran over and I picked her up and put her in my lap. "Why did you shove a marker up the boy's nose?"
She crossed her arms. "Well, he was being gross."
"What'd he do?"
"He kept picking his nose and showing me. He kept saying, 'Look it's not very green, aren't boogers supposed to be green.' And he put it in my face. So I grabbed a green marker and asked him if he'd like his boogers to be green. He said yes so I shoved it up his nose."
I couldn't help but giggle. "Well it looks to me like he asked for it." I said. "So what's the problem?"
"She's just so difficult. I just wanted to let you guys know so you might be able to fix the problem areas before they get worse when she's older. She made the boy cry!"
"It looks to me like her 'problem areas' make her stronger. She's a bit stubborn and independent, but that's nothing to be mad at her about. And like I said, the boy asked for it."
"Well, your son too."
"Carter?"
"Yes. The two of them together are worse than just her. She gets him to help her. I've never seen that before. He may be less disrespectful, but he's still just as tricky and smart."
"She may be the younger of the two but she'll always be the leader. She's just like that. And they're twins, what'd you expect?" I smiled down at her. She wrapped her little arms around my neck.
Carter ran over and Ashton picked him up. "Mrs. Lenard, we promise to work with them to get them behave in the classroom." Ashton promised.
"I guarantee you that they aren't that bad at home. Sure we have some incidents, but they are good kids. Tazzy loves to help me and Carter loves to help his dad."
"I believe you. I know that you provide a very loving home, I'm just telling you how things are here."
"Also Mrs. Lenard some things are just genetic. I was like Tasmine when I was her age. My little sister was like this and Carter is just like his dad."
"That may be. But there can always be a cycle break."
"I suppose. Thank you. Well, we have to go now."
"Yes, well I will see you both tomorrow morning." She smiled down at them and they smiled back. She doesn't know them well enough to know that's their pretend innocent look. That they secretly don't like her. We'll let her live in blissful ignorance.
We walked out of the kindergarten classroom and we all walked hand in hand to the car. "Can you both be a little more calm in your class? I don't want you both getting in too much trouble."
"Sorry mommy. But Miss Lenard is so boring and no fun."
"It's school. It's never fun sweetie."
"Well, maybe our new baby will be better than us." Tasmine said with a frown. Yes, I'm pregnant again. We don't know the sex yet, but Carter and Tasmine are happy to have a little brother or sister.
"Oh sweetie you are all the best to me. The new baby won't be any better or worse than you."
She looked up at me with her big blue eyes and smiled. Then looked at Carter. "Carter, wanna play tag when we get home with Melanie and Parker?" She said happily.
"Okay."
We moved after a little while because we knew we needed a bigger house once the twins got older. We moved to a house that's a block away from Jen and Ryan and across the street from Martha and Henry.
Tyler got married to a girl named Jocelyn. They're expecting too. So that way our new arrival will have a cousin its' age too. They live across town though. I like living close to all of them; we're all one big happy family.
Once we got home the two of them shot out and ran into the house. Ashton walked over next to me and wrapped his arm around my waist. "You know, I don't care what that teacher says. Our kids are perfect. And the new baby is going to be."
"Yeah." I said putting a hand on my stomach.
"What are we going to do with Tasmine though? She needs to learn self control in the class room."
"She's like you Brooke. It's not going to happen. We'll just enjoy her the way she is at home."
"I guess you're right."
We walked up the steps into the house. When we got inside Tasmine was already on the phone trying to get Parker and Melanie over. I am really interested to see what happens in her future.
Carter is adorable. Him and his big blue eyes. Whenever I'd take him to preschool the little girls would all clamor around him. I think I see another Ashton in our future. He's so sweet though. He's going to be a perfect little gentleman. Unlike his father was before he met me.
I love them to death though.
**I just love Tasmine lol She's so cute in my mind. =) Hope you liked it like always**
