I know I should've told  Delaney about that shit that happened with Iris right away , but I couldn't. I love Delaney and I don't want to lose her . I watched her walk into the airport I couldn't just let her go like that. I climbed out of the truck and ran behind her. I grabbed her from behind and pulled her into me .

" Odell let me go. "

" I love you Delaney and I know I messed up but I can't let you leave like this."

Her eyes started to get cloudy I knew she was hurting inside I didn't blame her . I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her slowly , she let her guard down and kissed me back .

" Odell , I love you but I am disappointed . I allowed her into our world under the assumption that you would stick to your promises . You didn't do that how can I trust you."

" You don't , not right now but I am going to fix that I am going to gain your trust back."

I kissed her forehead and pulled away from her.

" I Love You Baby , FaceTime me as soon as you land ."

" I love you to babe and I will."

She let go of me and walked towards security , I watched and waited making sure she made it to the other side . I missed her already . I had to fix this shit between us and I had to fix it now. I picked up my phone and called the one person I know could help.

" Juice it's Beckham meet me at my place in 20
minutes I need your help ."

To Iris :
Don't text me anymore Iris. I told you once that shit that happened between us was a mistake. Delaney is my girl , my world and you coming in between that. We had fun with you but now it's over .

I put my phone in my pocket and got back in the truck driving towards home. I got there and juice was walking in the front of the building . I greeted him and we made our way up to the apartment.

" What was so urgent ?"

" I need you to help me fix things with Delaney."

" fix ? I didn't know they were messed up what did you do?"

" Remember Iris shorty that we brought in ? Well I may have gotten drunk and fucked her without Delaney ."

He gave me the really nigga face.

" I know I know I fucked up , Iris texted me some wild shit last night and Delaney saw it so I had no choice but to tell her what happened."

" Wait so you never told Lane what happened ?"

" No cause I told Iris that it was a mistake and wouldn't happen again ."

He rolled his eyes and shook his head " You have to be the dumbest nigga I have ever met , your girl allows you to fuck another female while she's present and you ruin that.  You know what I would give for that ?"

" Juice come on you not helping , I know I fucked up but I can't lose Delaney she means too much to me."

" Okay how am I supposed to fix this ? You want me to take Iris off your hands ?"

" Mane look you can have shorty but that's not what I meant . I need you to convince coach to let me do training for a few days and then I'm out I need to be in Cali with Delaney."

" How TF you expect me to do that? I hope you got some master plan , cause I don't see that happening. "

I have to figure something out I can't let this shit get out of hand I can't lose Delaney .

" Juice we have to figure it out I can't go two weeks without trying to make this work"

I reached in my pocket and pulled out the jewelry box .

" Hold on a jewelry box are you thinking marriage ? It's only been what 8 months since you all met ?"

" Nigga it's a promise ring , and love has no timeline . If I wanted to marry her next week I would."

I was going to give her the ring last night and it got all fucked up. I am going to fly out to California and put this ring on my babies finger no matter what I have to do.
