Delaney and Odell are the perfect match , they compliment each other. He silences her demons , and she makes him a better man. There's no such thing as perfect though is there ?
Kevin has been a great distraction , he's cute, he makes me laugh, and he's easy to talk too. He makes me miss Odell because they are so much alike. I love Dell and I believe we can work through this rough patch. Since I have been here he's done nothing but call and FT me, before practice , between practices, and all night until we both fall asleep. He really is trying to make things better , I really just miss being around him so the attention from Kevin is nice. Emeli came in my room early this morning and asked if I could watch Ayanna while her and Quandell went to meet the wedding planner. I was so excited to be part of her wedding , the way those two love each other gives me hope. When Emeli watches Quandell and Ayanna together you can see the sparkle in her eyes literally. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that she never got that with our dad. I looked over at the clock and it said 6:15 I needed to go for a run I haven't done one since I been here , i am starting to feel sluggish. I climbed out of bed , took a shower and changed into my running clothes. The house was so quiet, I walked down into the kitchen to get water. I closed the fridge and Kevin was standing behind it , I jumped because he scared the shit out of me. He laughed and grabbed my hand.
" I'm sorry Delaney I didn't mean to scare you !"
" It's fine just don't let it happen again okay Kev. I'll see you in about an hour."
" Where you going ? And dressed like that."

" Yeah well I'm a big girl Kev I can protect myself but thanks for your concern."
I smiled and walked out the kitchen, I put my Head phones in and walked out the front door , I stretched a little bit and then started my run. Dell hasn't called yet , I'm paranoid , practice starts at 6:45 and he usually calls before then. I wasn't going to call him I wasn't the one that needed to fix things. I ran along the pier and stopped to take a breather. I had so much on my mind I didn't realize I had already been running for an hour . Emeli and Q had their meeting in 10 minutes. I'm not gonna make it back by then. Fuck i took off running back toward the house . 10 mins passed by so quick and I felt like the worst sister ever for not being on time. I finally got back about 25 mins later. I walked into the house..
" EM ! Q ! I'm HERE " no response I heard voices coming from the living room I walked in and Kevin was playing with Ayanna
" Oh that was you making all that noise , Em and Q couldn't wait I told them I would watch her until you got here"
" You are a saint Kevin ! Let me shower and I'll be right back."
" We are good her God father got her '"
She smiled at me and waved " Hola Auntie Waney" we are working on her L's , Waney works now.
" Hola Yanna auntie will be right back"
I walked upstairs to the bathroom , took my hair down and turned the shower on. I looked at my phone still no call from Odell. I got in the shower washed my hair and took care of my hygiene routine. I wrapped the towel around me and stood in front of my closet. My phone buzzed.

I tossed the phone on my bed in frustration and let out a loud sigh. The door opened and in walked Kevin.
" Get out I am not dressed yet ! And where is Ayanna?"
" She's in her playroom and it's not like I haven't seen you in a bikini yet Delaney !"
He walked closer to me , I took a couple steps back just to leave a comfortable space between us. He stood just a few inches in front of me.
" What ? You are being so weird what do you want Kev ?"
He moved closer and wrapped his hands in my hair kissing my lips slowly , his lips felt amazing I could feel all of my walls coming down. Then the door bell rang scaring us both. I moved away from him and covered my mouth.
" You expecting company ?"
" No , maybe it's a delivery finish getting dressed ill get it."
He walked out of the room and I sat down on the bed , what just happened ? Why didn't I stop it ?
I grabbed my phone and started to call Odell , I couldn't not right now my mind was to cloudy. I walked back over to my closet and finally decided on an outfit. I was putting my clothes on and the door opened again.
" I thought I said..." I looked up and Odell was standing in the door way.
