Me and Quandell walked back into the house from meeting with the wedding planner , I was so relieved that everything went smoothly. I had just talked to Delaney so I knew Ayanna wasn't here I missed my little muffin. We walked into the living room and Kevin was on the couch getting head from some girl.

" Kev ! Are you fucking kidding me right now"

He jumped up causing the girl to fall back and hit her head. I covered my mouth to muffle my laughs. He pulled up his pants and she stood up running out of the room. I walked over to Kev and smacked him in the back of his head.

" What if my daughter was walking through the door Kevin that's what you have a bedroom for !"

" I'm sorry Em you right I wasn't thinking."

Woah wait a minute , this is not Kevin i held my hand to his forehead. He never apologized for anything.

" Babe come on now leave that man alone he said he was sorry" Q looked at me laughing

" But he never says sorry, you feeling okay Kev ?"

He didn't say anything I guess the joke wasn't funny he walked out of the living room out the back door to the yard.

" See babe now you upset him always being mean. Crazy ass"

I flipped Q off and followed behind Kevin. He was sitting beside the pool smoking . I never really was one for smoking but Q and Kev do it all the time. I walked over to him and sat down beside him. Kev was like a big brother to me so I didn't want to see him upset.

" Keviee I'm sorry about earlier I was just teasing you know. I mean it was wrong to be in the living room , but I should've left it alone when you said sorry."

" Nah no worries it's cool , I know you were just fucking with me Em."

" So tell me what's wrong ? Why you so down this not like you. Was the head not good ?"

" How long your sister been with her dude ?"

That was random I wasn't really expecting him to ask me anything about Delaney.

" Well for about 8 almost 9 months now why ?"

" He showed up here today , did you know he was coming?"

" Yes I knew he told me , but he wanted to surprise her so I didn't say anything why did something happen ?"

He shook his head and stood up, he knew I wasn't going to let him off that easily I grabbed his wrist stopping him.

" Talk to me Kev what's wrong ?"

" I know she gotta dude Em , but there's something about her . We vibe so well and it was so natural. And then earlier today I kissed her and I know I shouldn't have but it felt so right."

My eyes widened when he said that ! I had to make sure I was hearing right did he say he kissed her ?

" Wait you kissed her when was this ? And what did she say ?"

" Earlier when she got back from her run , she didn't say anything because the doorbell interrupted our moment and it just so happened to be her nigga. "

" Oh no ! Kev you shouldn't have done that and you know that.Did Delaney make you believe she wanted to kiss you?"

" No, she never went out of her way to say she liked me. The vibe it just felt like what should happen."

" You need to talk to her , I don't recommend it now because Odell is here and I don't want her under that type of stress it's not good for her. Please Kevin I am begging you let it go. Let Delaney talk to you on her time don't make it weird."

He nodded his head in agreement. I heard Ayanna's little foot steps behind me , I stood up and she ran towards me.

" Mommy guess what guess what !?"

" What Babygirl tell me ?"

" Uncew Odeww is here ! And Aunty Waney is so happy and smiwing awot."

I smiled and kissed her face my poor little baby couldn't pronounce L's for nothing.

" He is ! Well let's go see uncle Odeww shall we ? Did you enjoy your ice cream ? I saw a picture you got all the flavors like you love ?"

" It was so yummy mommy!"

She smiled wrapping her hand in mine we walked in the house. Delaney and Odell were in the kitchen laughing and smiling , watching her with him she's so happy she's radiating happiness. Kevin walked in behind us and as soon as he saw them he walked up stairs . I looked after him and felt sad for him, maybe I should talk to Delaney.

" Well Mr Beckham it is nice to finally meet you in person." He hugged me and smiled

" You as well Ms.Delrio you have an amazing little girl okay let me just say that! And she told me she's been practicing her football! So we are gonna have to see about that."

He smiled picking Ayanna up. Q came back downstairs in his sports gear.

" Come on YaYa , you and daddy are going to beat uncle Odell and Auntie Laney real quick in this football game."

Delaney smiled and walked over to me laying her head on my shoulder. I laid my head on top of hers

" He's awesome buggie I can see why you love him, I can see the love all around you with him."

She squeezed my hand , I could feel her smiling " Thank You Em , he told me that you were in on his surprise I needed this thank you."

" Your welcome Buggie , go and play your game afterwards shower and come and help me cook so we can talk okay ?"

She nodded and smiled running out to the backyard. I just wanted to see her happy, but I had to clear the air between her and Kevin and soon. I just hope that he can push aside how he feels and not compromise her happiness.
