It's been two weeks since Braelyn was born. Mel isn't doing so well , she's kind of shut herself down since she's been home. I am staying here with her because I don't want her to do anything to harm herself or the baby. The doctor says this phase won't last long , it's common in mothers who lost a child. Brae is the prettiest little baby girl anyone could ask for , and she's such a good baby. Odell is home in New Orleans , I told him I would be home in a couple days when Mel's sister came down. " Hi Baby , I was just thinking about you."
" Great minds think alike, what's up babe ? Where is princess Brae at ?"
" She's finally sleeping I'm about to talk to Mel. What you doing ?"
" Oh go ahead babe have your talk your test results came back today"

I had been waiting forever for this , I didn't want to wait anymore.

" Open it baby tell me what it says."
I heard him shuffle around with the envelope. He was quiet for a second assuming he was reading.
" Well babe , looks like me and you are going to be parents."

I wish I could've been there to see the smile on his face because I could hear it in his voice.. I was so excited I wish I was home so I could share this moment with Odell.

" Babe I'm gonna call my mom and tell her I'll call you back"
" No babe not yet let me get through my first trimester before you tell the world. You can tell your mom and that's it you understand !"
" Ugh fine babe I'll be a good boy"

We ended the call and i walked back out to Mel. She was on the phone and smiling it was nice to see her smiling. She looked my way and hung up the phone , I sat beside her and hugged her.

"Feeling better today ?" She nodded her head hugging me back.

" Brae is sleeping , I'm sure when she wakes up she will be hungry."

" Bug I really don't know what I would have done with out you these last two weeks. I really thought I was okay , and then we got home and I went into the bedroom, and I say all of Ryder's things and it hit me , my baby boy was really
Gone. I have a beautiful angel here , and every time she looks at me my heart melts , I just needed some time to coupe with it. But you were right there with me and I could never repay you for that. "

" We are a family that is what I am here for , Brae knows that you love her , she loves you just as much if not more."

She smiled and wiped her eyes: I guess now would be as good a time as ever to tell her the big news.

" I have something exciting to tell you while we are on the subject of happiness."

" Omg Dell asked you to marry him ! I can't wait for the wedding it's going to be epic."

" No no no calm down lol he didn't ask me to marry him, not yet anyway. We just got the promise ring baby steps okay baby steps."

" You are moving back to Ny."

I had planned on it but now my future involves two other people might have to do some tweaking.

" No lol while we were in California i was having some weird moments so. I went to see the doctor and I'm going to be a mommy."

She froze , and then she squeezed me and started crying. I knew this was going to be her reaction.

" OMG I am going to be a grandma , wait I'm gonna be a grandma. This means I am getting old."

" Who said something about getting old. " Mike walks out the door smiling.

" Delaney is having a baby."

His face lit up like a Christmas tree I think he smiled harder than Mel. He walked over to me and I stood up he wrapped his arms around me and lifted me off my feet.

" Good news all around. I have some news myself."

He pulled a folder out from his back and handed it to me. I was confused. I opened the envelope and looked between him and Mel with tears in my eyes. They were adoption documents , so that they will finally be my parents.
