Almost 3 hours later my plane landed in Cali. I was nervous and excited all at the same time. I went to baggage claim to get my bags. I pulled out my phone and texted Dell.

I put my phone in my bag and walked to the waiting area. I looked down at my phone trying to clear my thoughts I smiled at the picture of me and Odell. I was interrupted my someone tugging on my legs. I looked up and Ayanna was standing in front of me.

I picked her up and squeezed her so tight she giggled and hugged my neck.
" Hola Auntie " I kissed her cheeks and put her down I looked behind her and Emeli was standing there. My eyes welled up with tears and she walked over to me hugging me.
" I am so glad you are finally here Delaney. I was worried you weren't going to get on the plane."
" Well after the night I had I couldn't wait to get on the plane this morning."
She grabbed my bags and we walked over to the car. I put Ayanna in the car seat and climbed into the passenger side.
" Oh no what happened last night ?"
" Me and Odell got into it , we made up but my head still isn't in the best space about it."
We drove in silence for a while mainly because I didn't know what to say, I was still mentally stuck on the situation with Odell. We pulled up to a house and I couldn't believe it ! The home was huge , she told me that her step father had money , but I didn't know she meant like this.
" Is this your house Em ?"
" Yes it was a birthday present from daddy. You like !"
" Like is an understatement , I was excited when me and Dell moved into our two bedroom apartment. This is next level like okay "
She laughed at me but I was serious I couldn't believe how huge this place was. We were greeted by Two men at the door

" Delaney this is my boyfriend Quandell and his best friend Kevin."
I smiled and shook both of their hands " Boys this is my little sister Delaney."
" Nice to meet you both."
They took my bags up to the guest room, Kevin was so cute there was something about him , maybe his smile or the fact that he's a giant.
" I see you looking at him Delaney he's single , but you are not so be careful."
I ignored her comment and sat down at the kitchen island.
" Emeli, how do you feel about daddy ? I know you never met him but you look a lot like him so does Ayanna."
She grabbed a water bottle and gave me one sitting across from me.
" I don't really feel anything to be honest , I never heard anything good about him, he left my mother when she was 6 months pregnant after he tried to beat me out of her."
It stung hearing her talk about him and what he did to her mother , she's lucky she got away my mom wasn't so lucky.
" I'm so sorry Delaney , I can't imagine what it was like to lose both of them."
" It stopped hurting when I stopped thinking about it , but I don't want to lose the memory of them."
She walked over to me and hugged me I wiped my eyes and squeezed her. The boys walked back into the kitchen. Kevin sat beside me an Quandell had Ayanna on his shoulders.
" Well Ayanna wants to go for a swim, soo its swim time."
I smiled as she cheered Em walked behind them Into the backyard. Kevin looked over at me
" You not going to go swimming pretty girl ?"
" I have to change into my suit first." I smiled Standing up.
" Lemme show you the guest room where we put your stuff."
I smiled standing and following him up to the bedrooms. I walked into my room and fell in love.

I unpacked my bags and sat down on the bed my phone buzzed.

I smiled and put my phone on the dresser I do love him but he fucked up big time it's going to take more then cute messages to win me back. I changed my clothes and put on my new bathing suit. I walked out back to the pool and everyone was already having fun. Kevin was on the grill and the food smelled Amazing. I walked over to him and he smiled.
" Blue is your color Delaney."
