" Buggie , nothing happened." Emeli tried reassuring me.
"Nothing happened because I stopped it. But if I wasn't standing there a lot more than nothing would have happened."
" It was just a dance Delaney I know he's yours" Iris smiled taking another sip of her drink.
" Iris watch your fucking mouth. I tried to play nice with you, for the sake of my sister but you have crossed a line tonight. The same way I told you at the bachelorette party this is DONE ! It was fun while it lasted but it's OVER !"
Everyone was looking at me kind of confused , aside from Odell and Iris. Dell moved closer to grabbing my hand , I pulled away from him and moved towards Iris. Emeli intervened standing in front of me.
" Buggie calm down , what's going on what are you talking about ?"
" Remember when I came to visit for the first time ? And I told you me and Odell had gotten into it because he cheated on me. Well you are standing between me and the bitch he cheated on me with."
Iris smiled, rubbing her finger across the top of her glass. I brushed past Emeli and slapped Iris in her face , I had enough of her fucking smirks and smiles. She held her face and looked at me. Jasmine pulled her away and looked at her face.
" Delaney that wasn't necessary! Iris is my baby sister and I know she wouldn't do anything like that."
I looked at Jasmine and rolled my eyes.
" Little do you know , your baby sister isn't who you think she is. This little innocent role that she's playing has you fooled. I have all of the messages and pictures to prove it. So before you go calling me a liar , and telling me what's necessary and what's not check your little sister Jasmine."
" Well obviously Odell cheated on you with Iris for a reason maybe you weren't exciting enough. I hear you like to be a tease and then run and cry when the opportunity presents itself."
Emeli's eyes shot open, she turned around and looked at Jasmine with so much anger in her eyes that it scared me.
" What the fuck did you just say Jas ? And what the fuck are you insinuating ?"
" Kevin told me , Delaney dangled herself in front of him and then when he tried to make his move she ran and cried. That's a little boring d..."
Before Jasmine could finish her statement Emeli was on top of Jasmine attacking her , Jasmine was screaming for help underneath of Emeli but that didn't stop Em. Q finally pulled Emeli away and held her back.
" Babe calm down ! Relax your body right now chill."
" Jasmine take your shit , take your sister and get the fuck out of my house NOW ! And don't even bother to show up at the wedding get OUT !" Emeli screamed with tears streaming down her face.
Quandell took her out to the backyard , nobody moved. Everything happened so fast , we weren't expecting it.
Iris and Kevin helped Jasmine stand up. She looked horrible, her hair was all over the place. Her makeup was ruined it's safe to say she got her ass beat. Iris grabbed her stuff and she turned to look back at me.
" You happy now Delaney ?"
" Bitch unless you want to look just like your sister, keep moving and get out."
She rolled her eyes and they walked out the house. Odell looked over at me.
" I know I said I'd behave baby , but she pushed the wrong button. And it wasn't me , it was Emeli. I promised I wouldn't hurt me or the baby I didn't."
He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me.
" I didn't mean to cause all of this drama babe I'm sorry."
" Don't apologize. Iris knew what she was doing when she turned that song on she was asking for it."
Em and Q came back into the house. Emeli had finally calmed down, and then Kevin came back into the house and she started to get that look in her eye again.
" Kevin who do you think you are ? Why would you say anything about what happened between you and Delaney to Jasmine?."
" I was drunk , and she asked me how I felt about Delaney. I know I was wrong I can't take it back , but I swear I didn't say those things that she said I did."
" It doesn't matter what you said you never should have said anything. This has been one of the worst days of my life and it's almost my wedding day. Biggie I am so sorry about all of this. If I would have known , I never would have invited Iris."
" Don't worry about it Em you had no idea. And I guess I'm not surprised that Jasmine defended Iris. After all you defended the fuck out of me."
She laughed and walked towards me hugging me. I hugged her back and kissed her cheeks I didn't want her to be sad. This was supposed to be a happy week for her , and it just turned out to be horrible.
" I am going to go and cuddle with my babies and sleep its been a really long day."
We exchanged hugs and Em and Q went up to the bedroom. Odell looked at Kevin , and Kevin looked at me.
" Delaney I swear I never called you a tease. I admit I was way out of line for even speaking about the situation."
" Don't worry about it Kev. It is what it is . It's over and done. Babe lets go I wanna sleep."
Odell nodded grabbed his keys and waved to Kevin. We walked out of the house only to be met with non other than Emeli's mother.
" It's not a good time. It's been a long night try again in the morning."
" I need to talk to her now. I don't want her to go to sleep angry with me. And Delaney I think you should be here for what I am going to say to her as well."
" Well like I said it's been a long night try again tomorrow."
I walked away closing and locking the door behind me. I texted Em to let her know that her mother is downstairs. She texted me back and said not tonight. I know she's not ready to talk to her mother especially after the night she had.
