Chapter Five: Tryouts

*ring ring ring*

I woke up to my alarm ringing. It was 5:00 am. I got up picked an outift for today and got in the shower.

When I got out I changed into my white open shoulder dress and some cute sandals. I decided to just blow dry my long brown hair and not curl it since my hair was already naturally wavy.

I did my makeup and brushed my teeth. When I was finished it was already 7:45.

Holy shit I'm going to be late! I should call Grayson.

I went to my bedside table and grabbed my phone to call Grayson.

"Hello." I heard an unfamiliar voice on the other line.

"Hey, is Grayson there?" I asked.

"Yeah, he just went to the restroom."

"Ok, can you please tell him that I'll be waiting for him in my car."

"She doesn't need too, I'm going already." I chuckled and walked out to my car.

I wonder who the girl was. Was it his girlfriend? I mean why would any other girl be in his room, but he never mentioned having a girlfriend.

My thoughts were interrupted by Grayson's yelling.

"What the hell Grayson?" I chuckled. "Why are you yelling?"

"Because I'm so excited. Today is the first day I ever ride with my bestie to school." He tried to mimick my voice but he failed.

"I do not sound like that!" I pushed him slightly. He got out of the car and looked mad.

"Grayson wait! Are you seriously mad about that? Come on you can't be serious!" I got out of my car and started walking towards him.

I looked at the time and we had eight minutes to get to school.

"Grayson we're going to be late!" He kept walking and didn't reply.

I started walking back to my car since he wouldn't listen to me.

I was about to open the door when someone grabbed my by the waist.

"Got you!" Grayson said and started spinning me around.

He let me down and I hit his arm.

"Owww! What was that for?" He asked rubbing his arm.

"For starters you made me think you were mad at me and you never do that to a new friend, second you scared the living shit out of me and third we're late to school now." He chuckled and hugged me.

"Oh don't be mad Bel. How about we ditch first period and we can go get breakfast?" He let go of me and opened the car door so that I could get in.

Five minutes later we were jamming to Rae Scemmurd.

We got to Panera Bread and we ordered our food and got a table.

"I'm surprised you didn't hesitate to ditch first period." Grayson smirked.

"Then you clearly don't know me that well." I smirked back.

After our little adventure we got back to school. Just in time for third period.

When I walked in Ethan was on my seat.

"Last time I checked this was my seat." I shot him a glare and he smirked at me.

"Last time I checked I didn't give a single fuck." He smirked at me and then started talking to his friends.

He really pisses me off.
