Chapter 14: Disney Songs and Pickup Lines

The next morning I woke up with a huge hangover. My head was pounding.

"Never again." I thought as I grabbed my phone and checked the time. "Holy fuck it's 12 am! Ethan get up!!" I said as I turn around and shake nothing.

Ethan was gone and left a little note on my night stand.

"Hey beautiful, I woke up early in the morning and snuck out of your window so your parents wouldn't see me. Get ready. I'm taking you out on a first REAL date. I meant what I said yesterday. Ok maybe I exaggerated saying I love you but I do really like you and I think we should get to know each other. Meet me at the park with the lake near our houses at 7 ;)"

I felt my face getting hot from all the blushing. I can't believe he's serious about this. I thought he only said that because he was drunk and what about Mason?? I really really like Mason and I don't want to see him get hurt. This is confusing and this hangover isn't helping. I need to take a long cold bath.

After a long shower I walked down to the kitchen and took a pain killer. Thank god my mom wasn't home or else she would've gave me a long lecture that I really didn't want to hear.

I walked back to my room after I heard my phone ringing. I walked in and saw it was Mason calling me.

"Hello." I answered.

"Hey Is, I was wondering if you wanted to go grab a bite with me." I agreed to go out to eat with him. I really needed to get out of the house.

I got ready and waited for Mason to come for me.

After a while Mason came for me and we made our way to Friday's.

"I'm about to play some lit music." Mason said as he grabbed the aux.

The music started playing and I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

I started laughing when I heard the song "Start of something new" that Troy and Gabriella sang in High School Musical.

He looked at me and gave my a cheesy smile and began to sing "Livin in my own world, didn't understand.... that anything could happen when you take a chance."

I joined in and sang the next line that Gabriella usually sang. "I never believed in.... what I couldn't see. I never opened my heart oohhhh to all the possibilitiiieessss."

We both chuckled and sang the rest of the song together.

This right here is my kind of date! I thought it was so cute that he didn't care that I knew he liked Disney movies.

After a long drive and many Disney songs later we finally arrived.

By the time we ordered our meals it was already 4.

"Did you get Ethan home safely yesterday?" Mason asked I almost choked on my drink when he asked that. I didn't want to tell him that Ethan spent the night at my house but I also didn't want to lie to him.

"Ummm his parents nor Grayson were home so he slept over at my house." I replied.

Mason cleared his throat and looked up at me. "On the couch I'm sure." He said taking a sip of his drink.
