I was in my room, on the phone waiting for Mamabear to pick up. I was doing the Manansala's laundry while I just put the cell phone on my shoulder and stuck it to my ear. The washing machines were shaking a bit loudly while I was there in my room. "Hello, Celine"? Mamabear finally answered after a while. "Ay, Mamabear, patawarin mo ako' sa provincial university test exam"! "Ay anak, walang problema yan, untindihan ko, the exam isn't easy." "Meron isang problema, the only problem is that walang pera"! "Nay, Ma'am Kris has offered me a free scholarship that she will pay to register me to go to Malaya University." "Malaya na Malaya, o, bakit-MALAYA"?!? "MALAYA"?!? "Ay, maraming maraming salamat sa offer nya"! "Ay, anak, sabihin mo maraming salamat sa inyo', ma'am Kris." "Oo, sabihin ako yun..." "Malaya kasi, walang isang problema yan, kaibigan ako ni Joaquin at Nina, hehe." "Joaquin aaaaaahhhh, 'Line, Malaya muna, dalawa, magliligawan aaah"? "Nay, other way around." "Sige, ingat ka nay, goodnight"! Then, that was it. A few minutes later, ate Clarisse sent me a text saying "Congratulations, mag ingat ka sa Malaya." Mamabear, ate Clarisse, Maam Kris, Ethel, Tarantina, Goma, Ryzza, and Abigail all knew that I was going to transfer to Malaya after getting kicked out of Hermosa, except for Joaquin and Nina. I already know Joaquin's reaction would be. OH. MY. GODZ YUN? MAG CLASSMATE TAYO? Nina treats me well, so I guess it'll be ok. Later that evening before our whole mansion household went to bed, Ma'am Kris had just gotten off and had finished talking on the phone to the Malaya University office staff, she said she had already registered me! I thanked and thanked Maam' Kris alot, I really appreciated what she did for me. Since she knew me and my family were poor and also knew that my education was soon most likely going to be over, she got me a free scholarship that she paid so that I was able to go to school again. I wonder if I'll be a Malayan student. After putting Ryzza to bed (the time everyone went to bed including the maids and Goma,) I went to sleep too.

Joaquin's POV:
The whole entire household was asleep by now, but I was still awake, my light was off but my lamp was still on. As usual before going to sleep, I would just sit up on my bed or be on my computer doing something. Suddenly, my MyPhone on my mini lamp dresser next to me rang so, so loud, I think I got a text message. I picked up my phone and decided to open my inbox. It read:

Subject:HUUUY WACCCKY
Message:

Huy, asleep ka ba? Tita Kris told me Celine is now transferred to Malaya, Yiiipeee! Ang bait-bait si Celine, I like her company.

OH MY GOD YUN, THE MOST PANGET TEXT MESSAGE EVER! I don't know why, bakit, I don't like Celine. She didn't do anything bad to me, but meron shang "annoying personality," that I just don't like about her. She looks like the kind of typical person, to have a crush on isang lalake, and then-break him and his girlfriend up. I think she'd ruin a couple. I have an attitude towards her, annoying sha...ewan ko bakit...Now, Celine will be going to school with me and Nina. Siyempre, walang isang masama problema si Nina, bakit dao? Kasi, mag kaibigan si Nina at Celine...AKO?!? Wala sha sa friend list ko.' Sometimes, I'm actually nice to people if they are hurt, like how she failed her test. But I don't get how she got into Malaya if she couldn't afford it. Someone was knocking on my door. Mama opened it halfway. "Joaquin, how come you're not sleeping yet, ah, it's ok," Mama went to sit next to me on the bed. "Did you know Celine will be transferring to Malaya"? I nodded with not such a big smile, but a light smile. "Joaquin, meron problema, you can tell me anything." "Wala, I mumbled them after turned my head and smiled to my room window and scratched my head with one hand. "Ma, to be honest, I'm just not sure if me and Celine are even friends at all." "Anong ibig mo sabihin Joaquin"? "Ewan ko bakit din, minsan, masaya ako sa attitude ni Celine, pero minsan, sottile ako sa Celine." "O, bakit Joaquin"? "There's nothing wrong with her, she's a very nice girl and that's one of the reasons why I hired her, I needed a responsible, polite, mabait na mabait tao for the job, someone who could gently and patiently take on your little sister." "Joaquin, just please take the time to understand that Celine doesn't come from a very rich family like us, they don't live in a big fancy mansion and they don't have alot of money." "The reason why I gave Celine a free scholarship was because she deserved it and firstly because she didn't have the money to go pay for another University." "Joining a certain, particular, university is not very easy, most universities here are very expensive, and cost alot of money." "You have to understand that Celine and Clarisse could only be able to afford Hermosa University because Hermosa is probably most-likely the cheapest." "I know you don't really like Celine, I know she talks alot, I know she's too playful and childish to Ryzza, but that's her job." "It's part of her job." "And you can't change her for being herself, ok"? "Please, at least try and get along or become friends with Celine, Nina, your girlfriend, is even friends with her. Mama kissed me on the head goodnight, closed my door, and left. I thought about my personality, how Ma was being right. I shouldn't be trying to change Celine for who she is, when even though I'm mischievous, and a bit cold-hearted,
nobody corrects or judges me. So why should I do that? Gusto ko sana mag kaibigan tayo, at magbabago ako. I went to sleep.
