We entered the mall, maraming maraming tao. Ryzza and Abigail allowed their Kuya Joaquin to buy his things first. "Video game store muna, Celine." We 4 headed to the video game store that Joaquin wanted to go to, while Goma texted me that he was inside the mall cafe buying some coffee. Joaquin bought 3 video games with his own money, and then to finish off Joaquin's turn at the mall, I knew it was time for Joaquin to buy his gift for his girlfriend, that I'm severely jealous of. We went to the jewelry store, he looked down through the glass for the best necklace he could find on display, inside the glass. He bought this very beautiful heart necklace, and then we quickly headed to the dollar store to buy a card for her. And then, he even bought a mixed box of puto and kutsinta, (which he claimed was her favourite,) and lastly a not so big but medium-sized bouquet of fake flowers, (which he claimed she had allergies to real flowers, which she would sneeze every minute.) Joaquin ended up buying 4 things for his girlfriend, sottile yet sweet and generous. In total, Joaquin bought 7 things, the 4 things for his girlfriend, plus the 3 video games. He didn't need a gift bag because he said he already had one ready in his bedroom. Abigail and Ryzza didn't find anything they liked or wanted. As we drove home, I was thinking again how lucky and "blessed" Joaquin's girlfriend was. It's not only because Joaquin was rich he bought his girlfriend 4 gifts all together, it's also because I know he loves her very much. "Ay Wacky boy, ano, what did you buy your tao, girlfriend"? Hearing this hurt alot, especially of course because since I am in love with my alaga's Kuya, someone already has his heart, and he has hers.
