I felt so under dressed as I looked around the large lobby area, there were other women I assumed were being interviewed for the same job all sitting in the waiting area. I saw one who kept adjusting her breasts in her blouse so they were visible to everyone. As if that would help her get the job, Mr McKenzie is more than likely in his late 40's and has a family, so what makes her think he'll be interested?

I walked over to the front desk nervously, "Hello I'm Sophia Jenkins, I'm here for an interview Ms Roberts gave me a business card" I showed the young blonde sitting behind the desk.

"Oh yes, I was told about you please follow me this way" The young woman gestured, was I not going to wait in line like everyone else?

We went up around 12 floors which I assume was to the top floor of the building, then I was directed to another reception area where Ms Roberts sat on the phone. As soon as she saw me she cut off the phone call to greet me.

"Ahh Miss Jenkins, nice to see that you are early. Mr McKenzie will appreciate that you made  an extra effort" She spoke politely and offered me a seat "I will let Mr McKenzie know that you are here, feel free to read a magazine while you are waiting"

I thanked her but just sat there waiting nervously until I could go in occasionally sipping from my water bottle. Around 5 minutes of waiting Ms Roberts led me to large oak doors and told me to enter as it was time for my interview. I took a deep breath and entered cautiously not wanting to fall and make a fool of myself. After all first impressions are everything.

I turned to close the door but was startled by a tall extremely handsome dark haired man who looked around 26 years old. "Ahh Miss Henkins, " The mysterious figure said "Take a seat"

Wait... Is this Mr McKenzie? It can't be he is too young to have a successful business like this one, and I must say extremely handsome.

"Umm my name is Sophia Jenkins...sir" I replied as I sat in front of the desk and he sat in the large swivel chair twiddling a pencil between his long thin fingers. I tried taking in the surroundings but it was all so difficult with this handsome man looking at me 24/7.

"Yes I know, I said that" Mr McKenzie said starting directly at me frowning slightly.

"Oh yes I umm apologise," I replied glancing down to my hands which were placed in my lap, feeling my cheeks burn red.

"Are you nervous Miss Jenkins?" He asked leaning forward slightly and resting his elbows on the desk.

"Yes, a bit actually," I said staring at my hands fiddling with a ring that I was bought for my 16th birthday. It is supposed to be a good luck symbol, but the way that this interview is going I don't think it works.

"If I am speaking to you I expect you to look at me" Mr McKenzie said sternly, now glaring straight at me.

I slowly peered up through my lashes and looked him in the eyes, they are a dreamy blue colour, like really blue, kind of like the Mediterranean sea.

"This is not going so good" He whispered writing notes "So what qualification do you have to clean my office and occasionally my apartment?"

"I work in a small diner called Joey's cleaning tables" I replied

"So you are not qualified" Seriously how can someone be qualified in cleaning, it's not like they offer a cleaning course at college.

"If I may sir, I am the most qualified person you are interviewing here today who genuinely wants and needs this job" I started clearly "I saw all of the other candidates and they all seemed as if they wanted to flirt with you. So if you think that I am not worthy sir, then you have lost all chances of a dedicated employee" I began shouting at this point emphasising the word 'sir' each time.
