Chapter 8: We're Dating!

*You guys have been dating a couple weeks now... (almost a month) you're just getting to telling your subscribers now*

Alex's POV:

I wake up to see it's 7:00am, time to start getting ready for work.... I drag myself out of my bed and take a shower. Once I finish I dry my hair, do my make up, then choose my outfit (imagine anything you want) and then head into my kitchen to get something to eat. I decide on a bagel, I split the bagel in half and plop both pieces in the toaster and wait.

While I wait I check my phone, I have a text from Red...

Red- Want a drive to work?

Alex- Sure, if it's not any trouble.

Red- No trouble at all, want to make your first official day as fun as it can be! I'll pick you up at 8:30. I have to finish getting ready and all, see you then!

Alex- Byeeeeee

Ah Red is the greatest, he's so caring and just so nice and polite. I think about Red until I get lost in thought and jump when my bagel pops out of the toaster. "Jesus fuck!" I yell as I jump. I grab my bagel and then put it on a small plate I had on the kitchen counter. I go and open the fridge and get the cream cheese and also grab a knife. I open the cover on the cream cheese then start spreading it onto the bagel. Then I pick up the plate and walk over to the table. Pulling out the chair and sitting on it then checking Instagram while I start eating my bagel.

I scroll through my feed, and see Adam posted a picture of... me and Red? It must've been from yesterday. The picture was of me and him smiling at each other with his arm around my shoulder. I obviously like it because it's a cute picture of me and him but damn... the confusion must be real for everyone now. The caption was simply "Official?"...great. The comments are crazy as well. Of course Jordan had commented "Haha cuties!!" I read more of the comments... ah the hell Adam just out his followers through. All of them were mostly "Oh my god... are Red and Alex dating??" or "Adam stop fucking with us are they dating or not." One that caught my eye said "If I don't see a video with Red and Alex announcing they're dating soon imma scream. They're like my major OTP. Don't fuck with me on this Adam." I laugh a little as I take the last bite of my bagel. I look at the rest of my feed then go through some fan art and like some stuff and comment on some of my followers art and other pictures.

Then I check the time... 8:27? Shit Red will be here any minute. I quickly grab my small bag with my wallet, ID (as in drivers license and all) and such then sit on my couch and wait. Nearly seconds later I get a text from Red saying "I'm here." I grab my phone and head out. I get into the car and Red starts to drive off to the offices. "Hey how are you?" Red says and he stops at a red light. "I'm good, thanks for asking. I was wondering... should we do a video together announcing that we're dating? We could just post the same video on both of our channels too so we don't have to record it twice." I say as I open Pokémon Go to see if there's any new Pokémon around. "Yeah, we should. I'm assuming you saw the picture Adam posted. People are basically flipping their shit right now because it was all so sudden. We can do that today during lunch if that's okay with you. We can just have some left over foods from the smoothie challenge I did a couple days ago." Red said as he reached over and held my hand and just steered with the other. "Hm yeah... sounds good. By the way... TEAM VALOR RULES." I scream as I catch a 327CP Dratini. "Hey! Team Instinct is better!" He says and we both laugh a little. He takes our hands and puts them gently against his cheek. He then breathes in and closes his eyes for a moment (not long enough to distract him from the road). As if he was taking the fact that we were a couple in. As if he was just appreciating the moment. Soaking it in. He puts our hands back where they were and says "God... I'm so lucky... how'd I get someone like you..." He looks at me and awkwardly grins at me. God. I just... Red is mesmerizing. "Well how'd I get such a YouTube sensation such as yourself? You YouTube Senasation RedVacktor!!!" I say and smile at him and we both laugh a little. "Haha, well I am pretty sensational aren't I? Oh, we're here!" He says and he pulls into the parking lot. Once he parks we both get out of the car and he walks over to me and holds my hand. We then walk up the stairs and head into the offices.

We get to where our offices were (they were across from each other) then let go of each other's grasp, walk into out offices and start our day at work.

*Time skip to lunchtime*

I was editing one of my videos when Red walks in. He rests his head on mine and wraps his arms around me. "Hiiiiii, ready to record our video?" He says with the cutest look on his face. "Yep, want to start now?" I say, he responds with "Yeah, I'll go get a chair. Be right back." He then leaves to his office and rolls his chair over. Once we get all situated I grab his hand and start the recording. Also making sure our hands aren't in frame.

"Hi guys it's Alex and Red here and today we have an announcement." I say and look at Red and smile... he smiles back. "Yeah... a lot of you were probably expecting this with stuff like Adam's post on Instagram and all." Red says with a grin on his face. "Well do you want me to say it or?" I say and look at him and laugh a little. "Sure you do it" Red says. "Well all I can say is..." I raise me and Red's hands and say "Me and YOUTUBE SENSATION REDVACKTOR are dating! I know a lot of you are probably not surprised and all but we just wanted to make this to make everything clear." "Yes I am dating this amazing girl and I am proud." Red says and kisses me on the cheek. We both laugh. "Aw thanks babe!" I say and smile. "No problem, so with that announcement I must say that I will be looking through the comments on all of her social medias to make sure nobody is hitting on her!" Red jokes and we both laugh again. He then pulls out his phone and checks through the last selfie I posted. I laugh and continue the video. "So this was the announcement and if you want me and Red to do anything like couple challenges or anything comment suggestions down below! And I will see you all later... say bye Red!" I say and look over at him. "Are you actually looking at the comments on a selfie I posted?" I say with an oh my god are you serious face. "Hah yeah and guess what? Colby? Yeah Colby. I saw your comment. Don't commenting on ma girls pics bro!" He says and does his little stutter thing he always does in videos. He then shows his phone to the camera and shows that a follower of mine named Colby commented "Gorgeous😍😍" on my selfie. I laugh and say "You're ridiculous!" "Yep, but you're stuck with me for now!!!" He yells and I laugh even harder and kiss him on the cheek. "YOUTUBE SENSATION REDVACKTOR OUT!" He yells again then jumps out of his chair and leaves. I laugh and say "Well hope you guys enjoyed this video? I guess? Haha bye guys!" I say and stop the recording.

Red then walks back in and says "Imma watch out for Colby now!" He says and pulls me out of my chair. "Hey I have to edit this now! How dare you distract me?!" I say if an offensive but an obviously sarcastic voice. "Sorry! But why don't we eat lunch together and I watch you edit till lunch break is over? I wanna spend time with youuuuuu." He begged and gave me his puppy dog eyes. "Ugh fine but don't talk too much" I joked, we ate lunch, talked and edited things and such. It was fun. "You know..." Red said as he switched his position on his chair so he was facing towards me better. "You're my girlfriend... yet we haven't had an actual date... so... how about tomorrow? I'll pick you up at 6:30?" "Sure, I'd love to! What are we going to do?" I say and move me chair a little so I'm closer to him, investing myself further into the conversation. "Hm... well that my dear Alex... is a secret" He says and apologetizally rubs my thigh as if he was saying sorry. "Awwwww please tell meeeee!!!" I beg and laugh a little but try to hide it. "Hah, sorry sweetie. But you'll have to wait..." He says and leans in and kisses me. It was a deep and passionate kiss. We stopped for air but it wasn't long before we were kissing once again. It started to get a little rougher. And that continued until Adam walked in with his vlogging camera and said "Hey! Lunch break just ended love birds! No time for making out!" He laughed and Red just looked back and said "Fuck you Adam."

Red then said goodbye and went to record some videos. I finished up some work too. Once the day came to an end Red drove me home. We kissed goodbye then I went inside and finished the day.

I can't wait for my date with Red. What does that cute little red head have planned?

Sorry about lack of updates... again. This summers been taking over with plans and all. I promise I will get a chapter out every day this weekend though! I have no plans (that I know of) so I will be fully invested into getting those chapters done and published each and everyday that weekend! Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter... probably one of my personal favourites. Until next time!
