Chapter 12: Lovelies & I love you's

Alex's POV:

It's lunch time so everyone is out getting food. Meanwhile, I stayed behind to edit somethings. I think I'm alone. I continue to edit things and see that I have a text from Jordan.

Jordan- Hey, how's work?

Alex- It's good... did you stay behind too?

(Jordan joined the offices shortly after Alex did by the way)

Jordan- No, I'm out at lunch with Max and Ross.

Alex- Okay nice, did Max ask you out yet?

Jordan- Oh here we go...

Alex- So I'm guessing he didn't.

Jordan- No not yet I guess. He has had a bunch of opportunities but whatever. I'm kind of third wheel with Max and Ross right now though. I've been whispering "MithRoss." In their ears for a good amount of time now lmao.

Alex- Oh haha, but at least you're with people. I'm in my office alone :(

Jordan- That can be arranged... gotta go. I'm about to order.

Alex-Wait what?

Jordan doesn't answer my text after that. What does she mean? Little bastard. I love her though, she's great. Why hasn't Max asked her out yet? I know she doesn't want me to talk to him about it but... I want to ask why he's waiting so long. Ugh. Whatever I'll talk to him about it if he doesn't ask her out today. Guess I'll edit some more.

I was just finishing up some little things on my video when Red walks in. "Hey! Do you need something? Jordan texted me and told me you needed to see me." Ohhh... that's what she meant. I didn't need for her to do that but okay I guess I'll just... I don't know. "I don't need anything actually... I told Jordan I was alone earlier when she was texting me because she said she was with Max and Ross. I was kidding but I guess she took it seriously. Whoops haha." I say and Red smiles a little. "Well then since I'm here how about you tell me what you're working on?" He says and pulls a chair up beside mine. "Well I'm just editing a video of mine... not that interesting. I'm a little behind so I stayed back and ate lunch here. Why did you stay back?" I say and turn my chair a little so I'm facing him more. "Oh I don't know, wasn't in the mood for going out I guess. By the way... our one month anniversary is in three days. Anything special you want to do?" Red says and then turns on his phone to look through any social media for entertainment. "Well first I must say that I don't want a present, then we don't really have to do anything special if you don't want to. I really don't mind." I say and then rest my feet up on his chair and continue to work a little more and save the video I just edited. "Okay the present thing I understand because I didn't want you to get me a present either. So no to presents. But are you sure there's nothing you want to do? Nothing special?" He says and takes my hands to hold it and continues to scroll through Twitter. "Well yeah sure lets go on a date but like... it doesn't have to be anything grand" I say and then wait for the file to finish saving. "Well how about we just have dinner at my place? I can cook something up." Hm didn't think Red would be the cooking type of guy. "Sounds great! Classy or casual?" I say and then start to close some tabs on my computer. "Hm... casual. I mean you're beautiful either way so it shouldn't matter. I'm probably just going to wear khakis and a button up shirt again." He says and then turns off his phone and puts it in his pocket. "Sounds great! Also Max hasn't asked Jordan out and I'm getting a little impatient." I say and he nods in agreement. "Don't worry me too. I tried talking to him about it and so did Adam and Ross but he just ignored it." "Oh god... do you think he's backing out?" I say... shit. What if he is? "I doubt it. He knows that if he doesn't he'll never hear the end of it so I don't think he'll chicken out." I was about to answer but then my alarm goes off and it says "Lunch Break: Over" I turn it off and say "Well we better get back to work." I say and he says "Yeah... see you soon." He walks out awkwardly. Did he want to say something else to me? I guess I'll just ask about it later. But within seconds Red pops his head back in my door and says "By the way... I love you." W-wait. Red loves me? I honestly never thought this day would come. I get up off my chair and walk over and kiss him. He puts his hands on my hips again and pulls me in closer. I wrap my arms around his neck and then pull away. I look at him and say "I love you too." We continue to kiss but then I remember lunch is over. We both say goodbye and go to our offices and continue the day.

Max's POV:

I check my schedule and I have an Office Antics video with Red, Jordan, and Alex. We're doing a Quick Change video. So this'll be entertaining. Alex is saying the situations and all then me, Jordan, and Red are acting.

*Time skip till after the video*

Wow I've never laughed so hard. Jordan is such a goof, but that's what I like about her. I look over at Alex and she mouths "Ask her out already" to me. I give her a mad look and aggressively mouth back with "I will soon." She looks mad now. Whoops? She then mouths back again with "DO IT NOW. If you wait any longer you'll end up loosing her! Do you really want that?" She then takes her phone out of her pocket and starts texting God knows who. Sadly Alex is right. I can't keep saying "I'll do it tomorrow" to myself. I'll loose Jordan. I-I'm going to do it.

Jordan's POV:

We just finished our Office Antics and I just got back to my own office and started to work on some things. Then Max walks in and says "Hi Jordan." He looks nervous and fidgety. "Hi Max, you need anything?" I say and w-wait. IS HE FINALLY ASKING ME OUT?!? "Y-yeah, um... I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime?" OH SHIT HE IS SHIT SHIT ACT NORMAL. "Oh yeah sure! I have some work to do though, could you just text me the details and all?" I say and try to avoid fan girling right in front of him. "Ohh yeah sure! U-uh see you later!" He says and walks out. I'm assuming he's going to his office. BUT OH MY FUCK HE JUST ASKED ME OUT. I HAVE TO TELL ALEX.
