7~ Angel's Vessel

Supernatural S4:E20 "The Rapture"

Madison's POV

I laid down on the warm sugar sand, as the sun shined down on me. I looked out to the clear carribaian water.

"We need to talk," I jumped up and turned around to see Castiel with a panic look on his face.

"I'm dreaming, aren't I?"

"It's not safe here, Someone could be listening," I saw his scared expression and stood to his level, resting a hand on his arm for comfort.

"Cas, what's wrong?," I asked worridley. He ignored the question and handed me a piece of paper.

"Go here... Now"

-TIME SKIP-

By the time we got to the location Cas gave me, it looked like a bomb went off in here.

We looked around to try and find Castiel, and finally Dean found him.

"Cas?," I tried shaking him awake. He gasped and shot up.

"What's-What's going on?," he asked in confusion. That didn't sound like Cas.

"Cas, you okay?" I asked him as he stood up.

"Castiel? I'm not Castiel. My names Jimmy. Jimmy Novak," he said confused.

Castiel left his vessel? Oh, that's not good.

-TIME SKIP-

"Dean, he said he doesn't remember anything, but he's the only lead we got," Sam argued.

"Look I just want to go home," Cas- I mean Jimmy said.

"Look, all we're saying is that until we figure this out, the safest place is with us"

"How long?"

"We'll cross that bridge when we get to it," sam said.

after what seemed like hours of arguing, Jimmy agreed to stay, but while we were all sleeping, he snuck out somehow and went to his family.

We were on our way to Jimmy's house now, when all of a sudden Anna popped in the car, making Dean swerve.

"smooth," she commented on his driving skills.

"You ever try calling ahead?"

"I like the element of surprise. Anyways, you let Jimmy get away?"

"Sam, you seem... Different," she said suspiciously. Looking at him intently.

"Me? I don't know, haircut?," he chuckled nervously. What's my brother hiding?

"so, what did Jimmy tell you? He remember anything?"

"Why? What's going on?" I asked her. She looked at me worried.

"It's Cas, he got sent back home. Well, more like dragged back. It's a very bad thing. Painfully, awfully bad," she explained.

Later that day, we arrived at his house, and got there just in time to save his family from Demons.

We got his family in the car and drove to a safe spot. Sam had the talk with him that he put his family in danger and he can never be with him, because the demons will never stop.

We got his wife and daughter a car, and they said their goodbyes. After we went our seprate ways, Amelia, Jimmy's wife, called and she was possessed and had his daughter.

She said to come alone, but odviously we weren't going to do that.

We went around back, ending up getting captured anyways.

"Great plan, Dean," I said sarcastically as we were brought into the warehouse.

"Now for the punch line," Amelia says and takes out a gun. "Everybody dies". She points it at Sam, then turns around and shoots Jimmy straight in the stomach.

"Waste little orphan annie," she commands to one of the demons and walks out of the room. A demon grabbed a metal pipe, and right before he hit her she shot up and grabbed it. Putting her hand to his forehead, and killed the demon instantly. Right then, I knew who it was.

Castiel.

We began to fight the demons that held us. I threw my head back, headbutting the demon. He stumbled back for a few seconds, before shaking it off. I used my new powers and forced him against the wall. He struggled, but It was no use.

"Glad to see you've found your powers, bitch," I smirked and pressed my hand to his forehead. Next thing I know the man dropped to the ground, unconscious.

I turned to help Sam, but I froze in shock, as I saw him drinking the Demons blood.

He turned to us, and realized what he had done, but then just turned back to the demon and killed her with the knife. He stood up, and stuck his hand out to Amelia, and sent the demon inside her back to hell. I looked to see Castiel walk up to his vessel.

"Of course we keep our promises. Of course you have our gratitude. You served us well. Your work is done. It's time to go home now. Your real home. You'll forever rest in the fields of the lord," he said to Jimmy.

"No, Claire," he choked out.

"She's with me now. She's chosen. It's in her blood, as it was in yours"

"Please, Castiel. I mean- take me. T-take me, please," he pleaded.

"I want to make sure you understand. Ypu won't die, or age. If this last yeat was painful for you, picture a hundred, a thousand more like it"

"Doesn't matter. You take me. Just me," he whimpers in pain.

"As you wish," he agreed and the girl placed her hand on her fathers chin, and Castiel appeared in Jimmy's body.

He stood up, with no emotion on his face, passing past us. I ran after him, once Dean and Sam were far enough away.

"Cas, hold up," I said to him. He stopped walking and turned to me. "What were you going to tell me?"

"I learned my lesson while I was away, Madison. I serve Heaven. I don't serve man. And I certainly don't serve you," he said in a monotone, with no emotion. Oh my god, what did they do to Castiel?!

"Cas, I know you don't serve me, you're my friend... What did they do to you?" I asked in a worried tone, stepping towards him.

He ignored me and just walked away, disappearing from sight.

I turned to face my brothers, my face basically telling them I was heartbroken. They stepped towards me, but I put my hand up for them to stop as my eyes started to water, and I walked away from them and out the door.

I went back to the hotel, while Dean said they had to go to Bobby's to help them with something. I'm going to meet them there, I just needed some time to process everything. I can't hold in my feelings like Dean does, or lie to hide them like Sam. I'm not like that, and even if I try.

It'll destroy me.
