Madison's POV

Dean went out to help Missouri and Jody on a case, because he disagreed with Sam on staying and helping Jack.

I stayed with Sam to help, and he started talking to Jack in the study. He explained to Jack that he has great powers, but he needs to learn to focus and control it, and that training will help.

I walked in with them sitting at the table.

"You see this pencil?" Sam said placing it on the table. "I want you to move it with your mind"

"That's it?" Jack asked.

"That's it". I stood in the doorway and watched jack try to focus on the pencil, but he wasn't really focusing. After a few minutes, Jack was fed up.

"I can't!... Im useless," he sighed. I walked in and sat down.

"You're not useless, Jack. It takes time"

"All right, Jack. When you did use your powers, what was it like?"

"It was like breathing, blinking. It just... happens"

"Even with Asmodeus?"

"No, he made me. It was like he was in my head "

"Okay... then imagine him doing that," sam started but Jack cut him off.

"No!"

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want to! It's just... I can't do this. And you keep staring at me, waiting," Jack snapped at Sam getting frustrated. I looked over at Sam, and he got the message.

"You know what, let's take a break," he said and stood up, beginning to walk out the door.

"Really?" Jack asked in confusion.

"Yeah, I'll get some food just you stay here and try to relax. When I get back we'll try again," Sam said and walked out and I began to follow.

"Where are you going?"

"Giving you some space," I said and walked out.

I walked into the main room to see sam reading a book, and having the study camera pulled up.

"Sam, go read in your room. I'll keep an eye on him," I said.

"You sure," and I nodded.

"Thank you," he said and took his book to his room. I was doodling on a notepad for a few minutes, taking glances at the computer, and when I looked up again he wasn't in his seat.

Quickly, I appeared in the study and saw Jack huddled in the corner of the room.

"Jack, what are you doing?" I asked him.

"I moved the pencil," he said annoyingly holding it up.

"Okay, look I know this isn't exactly fun-" I started but he cut me off.

"No, this is the opposite of fun," he said. I sighed and walked towards him, sitting across from him.

"I get it, Jack. But why is it so hard? I've seen you throw people across the room, and I've seen you open a gate to hell, and now nothing... it just doesn't make sense," I shook my head.

"It'd make sense... if Im evil," he said.

"What?"

"Just, go please"

"No, Jack why do you think you're evil?" I asked. "Because when I look at you I don't see evil. I see a lot of your mom and Castiel in you"

"Well, Dean sees it. He said he'd kill me. And maybe he should. Mom said I could be good, that I had the choice to be good, that it was up to me. But she's dead, because of me," he said. "I've only been on this earth three days and I've already hurt people. I've already done bad things. And no matter how hard I try I can't do the one good stupid thing Sam wants me to do. So, I must be evil, like Lucifer".

"Listen, Jack, Asmodeus tricking you, Dean... none of that is your fault. I think that after everything that's happened you're probably scared to use your power, and I would be to. I was in your place once, and so was Sam. You're not alone in this, Jack, that's why we're here to help you"

"Really?"

"Really," I confirmed. I could feel Sams presence around the corner, so I gave him a weak smile and stood up.

"I'll leave you two alone to chat," I said and left the study.
