54- All along the watch tower

Madison's POV

Castiel and I hid Kelly at this little lake house, because she's very close to her time, and we all know what that means.

I was sitting in the living room while Cas was helping put the crib together, plotting a plan. We already know my brothers are going to find us,because... Well, they are my brothers.

And we recently found out Lucifer is free, which wasn't quite a shocker seeing as nothing goes right for us.

It was getting dark, i had no idea where Cas was so i began to walk to the nursery when i stopped.

"I love you, Jack. I love you so much," i heard Kelly start to cry. She's recording a video for her son. "I know you're gonna be okay, and i know I'm your mom, but honey... think of Castiel as your father, okay? Not Lucifer. He knows the difference between right and wrong, unlike your father, and he'll help you. Okay... I love you, jack," once she finished i wiped a tear away from my cheek and walked off.

I was busy taking care of Kelly when there was a knock at the door, and i could sense the winchesters had found us. Mary came in and began helping me.

Kelly groaned, and we knew it was almost time.

"I think they're almost 5 minutes apart now. It's almost time," Mary said. Cas came in and pulled me out into the living room with the boys, and told me the plan. We got all our weapons ready and walked outside to be met with Lucifer.

"Well... This is a fun surprise. I gotta hand it to you guys, you never give up even when you should. Even when you would be so stupid not to be," he chuckled. I glared at him.

"Chuck... God will stop you. Just like he did last time," Sam threatened.

"You're right. What should i do? Oh, God. Don't strike me dead!," he said sarcastically. "Come on, Sam! You sound like a virgin in Jesus camp. No, Chuck 'walked'. He's gone"

"So, what? You're just gonna smash his toys?"

"Exactly. Cause everytime i look at this sad trash fire of a world, you know what i keep thinking? I could do so much better," we all stared at him in disbelief.

"Well guys, enough with the foreplay... Lets do this," he said and Cas stepped towards him and Lucifer threw him to the side. Sam and Dean stared at him before running away, and Lucifer rolled his eyes.

"Mature," he said and turned to me.

"I don't suppose you'd join me right?"

"I'd rather die," I sneered.

"So be it," Lucifer said and stepped toward me, but i flew backwards and ran to where the Winchesters went. When Lucifer turned the corner, we went in the next dimension.

Lucifer entered it a second later and looked around.

"You wanted the apocalypse? You got it," Sam said to him.

"Sammy. Where's your big bro?"

"Right here," he turned around to see Dean with a big gun. Sam ran around the back with Crowley to finish the spell, as i watched the scene before me.

"Wow, neat toy"

"Yeah, got it off a new pal of mine. So, say hello to my little friend," and thats when he laid on the trigger.

The round of bullets went into Lucifer, and suddenly it was empty, and he was unharmed.

"You lose," Lucifer said as his eyes turned red. He marched towards Dean and threw the gun to the side and punched him in the face.

Him and Lucifer began fighting, and I turned around to see Crowley.

"Surprise," he said and Lucifer began laughing.

"Crowley! You sneaky little... So i guess i get to kill you twice, huh, Crowley?"

Sam rushed Dean to the opening with me following closely behind.

"I doubt it"

"Oh, no, you had your chance to put me back in the cage but you had to make it personal didn't you?"

Sam, Dean, and i stayed to watch.

"You're right. It is personal. You humiliated me. I hate you. Deeply. I'm gonna enjoy wiping that smug, self-satisfied look off your face. Personally'

"You mean... this one?" he said and smiled.

" Come on, Crowley. You know whatever you try you're gonna lose"

"You're right," he said and turned to me and the guys.

"Bye guys," he said and stabbed himself, causing the spell to work.

Suddenly, Cas came through and started charging at Lucifer.

"Come on, Cas, no, no, no, no, no," we kept saying but he didnt listen. Sam pushed all of us through, and we hit the ground and stared at the opening, and luckily Cas came through. I ran up to him and pecked his lips.

"Don't you EVER do that again," I said. We looked into each other's eyes when suddenly my world would change forever.

A bright light filled Castiels face, and I stood shocked as I watched his body fall to the ground. I screamed in utter terror.

I fell to my knees beside his body and just stared at his face, not even paying attention to the events going on behind me. Lucifer could strike me in the back right now, and I wouldn't care.

He's gone.

I stayed by Castiels body the whole night, and by morning I finally stood up and made my way to the nursery.

I went into the bedroom Kelly was in and she was gone. I shut her eyes, before hearing something in the distance. I followed the sound and saw burning footprints on the ground.

I entered the nursery, and gasped when i saw a full grown person huddled up in the corner. He looked up at me and smiled as his eyes glowed yellow.

What did we just get ourselves into.
