"Momma, look! Two guys are holding hands!" Tyler exclaimed. He has never seen anything like it. He thought it was awesome!
His mother looked in the direction and scoffed.
"Disgusting! They should be ashamed! God will never accept them into Heaven!" His mother exclaimed.
"But God only hates the sin, not the people! That's what the bible says, right?" Tyler questioned, still looking at the guys, looking totally in love.
"It's a sin. A sin is bad. God won't accept sinful people into Heaven, okay, Tyler? Never be like one of them. It's disgusting."
Tyler was about to argue, but he saw the two men stand up and look in the direction of Tyler, waving to him. Tyler waved back, but his mother slapped his hand.
"Never communicate with sins!" She exclaimed, as if she was in shock that her son just did that. It was as if her own son was sinning.
"They're people, not sins!"
"Let's go, Tyler. Now."
