Tyler walked into the school and saw someone holding Josh up by his shirt, causing the shirt to hit Josh's neck and basically choke him. Tyler felt himself tense up and he ran over. He managed to grab whoever was holding up Josh by the shirt and pull him back to where he slammed into the wall.

Tyler was shocked he did it, considering he wasn't very strong. But, the kid managed to drop Josh in the process, and Josh ran. Tyler ran after him.

Josh ran straight into Ms. Wells' classroom. Tyler ran straight after him.

Josh stopped and turned towards Tyler, who looked terrified.

Tyler looked at Josh for a second, about to speak, but Josh rapped him into a huge bear hug.

And they stayed there for a long, long time.

Until they heard talking.

"Why did they even move me into this classroom?"

Josh tensed up and let go of the hug, but grabbed Tyler's hand.

The door opened and Tyler saw a girl with bright yellow hair. For some reason, the first thing he did was duck behind Josh.

The girl stopped in her tracks. She looked at Josh, then squinted her eyes to see who was standing behind him.

Josh looked a bit scared, and he was tensed up, so Tyler stood up straight and squeezed his hand, trying to comfort him.

"Tyler?"

Tyler looked directly at the yellow haired girl.

The girl ran over and hugged him.

Josh looked a bit scared.

"It's me! Hayley!"

"Hayley?"

"I haven't seen you in like three years!" Hayley exclaimed happily.

Tyler hugged her again, letting go of Josh's hand.

"Where have you been?!" Hayley asked.

"I've been playing for the basketball team...dare you hang out with anyone but them...they'll go crazy...luckily I've been kicked off. Now I can be with whoever."

"Oh gosh, Ty! I'm so, so sorry!"

Tyler shook his head. "It's fine, really. They're homophobic. We don't mix," he said, winking. Hayley smiled.

"Yeah, I heard you came out...or got exposed...you were holding someone's han-"

Hayley looked at Josh.

"Ah...you're the lucky one, eh?" Hayley asked, examining Josh.

"I...I'm a frien-"

"Oh my GOSH!" Hayley exclaimed. "You're the boy that Tyler used to talk about in seventh grade!"

She clapped. Tyler blushed in embarrassment.

"Seventh grade?" Josh whispered.

"Here, here. Let me introduce you to my friends. This," she said, bringing a girl with long blue hair forward, "is Ashley. And this is Melanie," she said as she brought up a girl with half of her hair dyed black, the other blonde.

"Hi," Tyler shook each of their hands. "I'm Tyler. This is Josh...my friend."

"Tyler Joseph?" Ashley asked, examining Tyler.

"Y-yeah," Tyler said.

"Hi! It's me from kindergarten! And it's the same Melanie from kindergarten, too!"

It was like a small reunion for all of them...well, excluding Josh.

"Oh! Hi!" Tyler said, surprised. They used to be best friends, until Tyler moved into the same school as Josh.

Hayley looked around the classroom, then put three letters on the teacher's desk.

"We got moved into this classroom for first period. Tell the teacher those are from us. Bye!"

The three girls waked out and Tyler was once again alone with Josh.

It was silent.

The silence was an uncomfortable silence. Both of the boys felt it. Tyler looked at Josh, who seemed to be already looking at him.

"Uh, Tyler?" Josh started. He held both of his hands together. It looked as if he was squeezing them together because the tip of his fingers had turned white.

"Do you wanna hang out tomorrow? Like go to lunch or something? Or we can go see a movie...whichever."

Tyler nodded, maybe a bit to quickly.

"Of course!" Tyler exclaimed.

"Okay...cool," Josh said, for some reason very nervous.
