"Stick with me, okay, Josh? Ignore anyone's words."

"O-okay."

"Tyler, why are you with him?" Some kid asked. Tyler didn't answer and kept walking.

"Dude  the basketball team is over here...like...everyone. We've been looking  all over for you!" Someone said. Tyler looked up and saw it was his  brother. Tyler stopped and so did Josh.

"I'm busy," he said.

"What are you doing with that?" He asked, staring directly at Josh.

"His name is Josh, thanks."

Tyler walked away and Josh followed.

"Who was that?" Josh asked quietly.

"My brother. He's homophobic."

"Oh."

Tyler walked into a classroom. It was Josh's first class.

"What are we doing here?" Josh asked, looking around.

"I  kindly asked to have the same schedule as you..." Tyler said, rubbing  his arm. "When I gave them my reasoning, they let me switch."

"Oh..."

Josh  was confused. First of all, why would Tyler Joseph even act as a friend  to him? He's the "celebrity" of the school. Josh is just a humiliation.  Josh was a joke. Second of all, why was Tyler being so nice, even though  he just met Josh yesterday?

There were so many questions to be answered, but a teacher walked in, interrupting Josh's thoughts.

"Oh.  Hello, boys. Sorry I wasn't here yesterday. Tyler, I hear you're in my first class now. And Josh, it's good to see that you're back. How are you  feeling?"

"Aware," Josh said quietly. The teacher just gave a sorrowful look.

"Where did you go?" Tyler asked.

"The hospital..." Josh mumbled quietly.

"Well, let's not talk about that now," the teacher said, changing the subject.

"You guys can sit next to each other, if you'd like."

Josh sat in his normal seat, all the way in the back, left corner. Tyler sat next to him.

And no one messed with Josh that day.
