"What's up with same-sex marriage?! What's so bad about it?!" Tyler questioned his mother.
"It's a SIN!" She hissed angrily.
"We don't bring up that dirty talk in this house, Tyler," his dad said angrily. "Go up to your room. We'll call you down for dinner. Until then, you aren't allowed to leave it. You hear me?"
"Yes sir," Tyler said nervously, heading down the hall and into his bedroom.
