"What's a fag like you doing at this school?"

...

"Got nothing to say?"

...

"Beat him."

...

A whelp was heard as Tyler raced over, seeing a boy getting held up by one of his basketball friends, the others around taking turns punching him. It was as if the poor boy was a punching bag.

"Put him down!" Tyler said. The boys slightly lowered the helpless boy.

"I've been dying to get my hands on this one for a long, long time," Tyler said, cracking his knuckles.

"And I'm doing it alone. Get out of here. Now."

Everyone was afraid of Tyler, for some reason. So the boys put the helpless boy down and ran away.

Tyler slowly walked over to the boy, who was now crouched down, covering his face. He was slightly shaking.

Tyler crouched down next to him and raised his hand.

"Please don't hit me," the shaking boy said.

"I would never," Tyler said as he brought his hand to the other boy's back, rubbing it.

"How badly did they hurt you?" He asked.

The boy looked up and Tyler instantly recognized him.

This boy had brown hair and a slightly large nose.

"It's you!" Tyler exclaimed but instantly put his hands on his mouth.

"Yeah, I know. My name has been all around the school. "Josh Dun! Gay this, gay that."," he said.

"What?" Tyler asked, scrunching up his face in confusion.

"Nevermind," the boy, apparently named Josh, said.

"Why are you talking to me of all people?" Josh continued, a frown on his face. "You're Tyler Joseph."

"But I have a heart," Tyler said, smiling.

"This is all a trick, right? It's happened before, I'm not an idiot, Tyler."

"I don't hurt anyone, Josh."

"And you don't hate me for being gay?"

Tyler snorted.

"Josh, I am gay, silly."

Josh's eyes widened. "Then how are you" the most feared person" in this school?"

"Feared? Cool. No one knows, except for you and my friend Hayley. So please don't tell anyone. No one can know. My family would definitely disown me, no doubt. And I love my family," Tyler said quietly.

"Okay," Josh said. "I won't," he finished, smiling.

"Here, I'll walk you home, mkay?" Tyler said. "Just show me the way and I'll come along with you, got it?"

"Why?"

"So no one can hurt you, Josh."
