"Mama! Do we have to go?" Cass whined at Ash.

"Yeah it's time to go home sweetheart. We get to go see Sammie though!"

"Yeah I know, I just don't want to leave Aunt J and Aunt Chrissy."

"I know you don't sweet girl, but guess what?"

"What?"

"Aunt J and Aunt Chrissy are going to come visit soon. Mommy already talked to them."

"Really?"

"Yep! Now we gotta get moving so we don't miss our flight."

"Okay!" Cass happily skipped away towards Ali who was talking to Chris.

"Mommy! We gotta go see Sammie!"

"Yeah I know! Just a second though." Ali responded and turned back to her conversation with Christen. A few minutes later she walked over to where Ash and Cass were sitting.

"Ready to head home guys?"

"Yep let's go!"

The trio said their goodbyes, and they headed to the airport. Once through security and in the terminal, they called Sam.

"Hey Mom!"

"Hey Sam. We're in the terminal now waiting to board the flight. How is everything?"

"Everything's going fine. Lex's parents are out for the weekend, again, so we're just hanging at our place."

"Okay. How are you feeling?"

"I'm almost back to normal. My throat's still a little sore and a bit of a runny nose and cough, but I'll be fine."

"Is Lex sick yet?" Ali joked.

"Actually yeah." Sammie said sheepishly. "She started not feeling well yesterday."

"Well good going!" Ali joked.

"Yeah yeah. I'll see you when you get home, okay?"

"Alright. Bye Sam. Love you."

"Love you too."

After Ali hung up, their flight began boarding.

Cass had a little trouble with the takeoff, but other than that was fine throughout the flight, even taking a much needed nap on Ashlyn's chest.

"Cassidy, we're home." Ash whispered to wake up Cass.

"Mama I still sleepy."

"I know CK, but we gotta get off the plane."

"Carry me?"

"Yeah just until baggage claim."

"Okay!" Cass sang happily and launched herself into Ashlyn's arms.

"Woah easy there." Ash chuckled. With Cass's arms latched tightly around her neck and her wife behind her, Ash headed to baggage claim.

"It's good to be home." Ali sighed as she headed into their house. She strolled into the living room and stopped in her tracks when she saw what was in front of her. Sam and Lex were curled up on the couch watching a movie. Lex was asleep and Sam was toying with her hair.

"Hey Sammie." She whispered.

"Oh hey mom."

"How is she?"

"Alright. Will you feel her head?"

Ali moved over to the duo and kissed Sammie's head before feeling Lex's.
