Annabeth POV

Where on earth is that boy? I looked everywhere. He better not be playing one of his games.

Ouch! When did we get a new wall here? Nope not a wall, just a stupid Percy holding me from falling while smiling sheepishly, staring at me dumbfounded .

"Oops!"

"Watch where you're going Seaweed Brain! " I squealed.

" Hey you are as much to blame here too. " He retorts.

That little...

"Get your hands off. I don't know where they've been." That was mean but I was absolutely furious, not at him though. Yes dear ones, I was being a bitch and projecting, channeling all my withheld anger on him.

"What is wrong with you?" He looks almost hurt. God I'm so stupid. Sorry, sorry, sorry. "Imagine having to deal with you for the rest of my life." He scoffed.

"What?" That insufferable dumbo. How dare he say that to me?  "As if you are a freaking prize."

"I am better than you, little miss perfect."

I narrowed my eyes. "You know what? I can't deal with you right now."

"Well fine I can't deal with you either!" He retorted, face full of anger and disbelief...

"Fine! " I raised my voice .

" Good! " He raised his too.

" Perfect! " I scoffed

" Freaking amazing! " He bit back.

Now we were full on yelling. And with that I left. Arghh, I'm so frustrated. Stupid Seaweed Brain.

Percy POV

What the hell was wrong with her? She was so mad there was cartoon smoke coming out of her ears. I knew she was mad but she didn't have to take it out on me. Geez!

Well it's almost lunch time now. This will be awkward.

I quickly freshened up in my bathroom, jogged down the hall and now I'm waiting for everybody else to come to the dining hall. After we all were seated, there was only Annabeth left. As she entered the room she wouldn't meet my eyes.

"Annabeth, you are late." Athena noted.

"Excuse me, it won't happen again." She dropped her head and took a seat at the end of the table.

"There is a seat right next to Percy dear. You wouldn't want to insult your future husband now do you?" Athena finished with a sickly sweet smile. Oh, boy. That meant trouble.

I mentally scoffed and I could see the annoyance on Annabeth's eyes. She obeyed and took a seat next to me without even acknowledging my presence . If she thought I would be the first to say sorry she was mistaken. It's not my fault she chose to be a total brat.

"So kids have you been accustomed to your hmmm... situation? " Frederick inquired. Frederick was a man of few words, noble and serious, so when he talked, he was heard intently.

" No! " Annabeth and I said at the same time, looked at each other, blushed and immediately looked away. Yep, I called it... Awkward.

" But you have been going out on dates right?" Thank you mom for making things worse. I internally shook my head in disappointment. These people really knew how to make us feel like we were sitting on freaking thorns.

I looked down at my plate, moving the food with my fork and refusing to answer. Annabeth on the other hand was paying more attention than necessary to her crystal glass of water. This was going to require therapy afterwards my friends.
