The only thing she wished would happen just happened to come true to Ruby Rose Langenheim. She was sitting all alone in her big house, flipping the TV channels and binge eating just so she could stop thinking about Vienna Imogen Costello. Without avail.
The girl of her dreams was out on a date with some bitch called Kylie and they would probably arrange to go out again. She heavily sighed and got up to grab herself some alcohol, preferably Jack Daniels or vodka, or even both, from the kitchen cabinet. Ruby wasn't much of a drinker, but this time she really wanted to forget about the past events and just wake up with the worst hangover ever, if that would mean getting over Vienna. That girl was stuck inside her head and never got out of it, not even when she was showering, eating, shopping, walking down the street... She was everywhere. Now she wouldn't call it obsession, but she definitely wanted to spend every waking hour with her.
But she was out with somebody else.
There was some kind of a boring movie on TV so, agitated, the girl switched it off and groaned in frustration. For a few moments she would even start feeling guilty for lashing out on Vienna but
-Stupid, stupid love.
The sound of her phone ringing interrupted her thoughts and she tried to dismiss it, thinking it was the girl she had been thinking about, but surprise was written on her face as she read the name "Madison" on the screen. An evil smirk appeared on her face as an evil thought came to her mind.
-Hey, Mads. Wazzup?
-Hey, Rubs. Nothing, wanna chill? We could watch some movies and gossip about random stuff?
-Sure, be at my place in twenty.
-Make it ten, I'm on my way already.
-Fine, bring some popcorn, I'm out of it.
-Okay, see ya in ten!
-Bye.

Vienna was sitting in her room, waiting for Kylie to pick her up since she was already half an hour late. She was worried something happened to her date, maybe she was stuck in traffic or had an accident or something like that. Vienna wasn't a panicky person but she couldn't control the bad thoughts that came to her mind.
-Maybe she changed her mind. Maybe she doesn't want to go out with me. I said something wrong. I've done a bad thing for sure. - anxiety was slowly taking over her mind and she didn't like that. Okay, maybe she was a bit of a panicky person, but only when she had anxiety attacks.
She wanted to call her and check up on her but she didn't want to seem annoying or pathetic, so she quickly dismissed the idea.
Another half an hour passed.
-Goddammit where is she?!
Then, like an answer to her thoughts, her phone buzzed.
-"Hey, sorry, I can't go out tonight. Something happened and I kinda have to be in the studio. I'll call you tomorrow, okay? Sorry :( "
-"It's okay, I hope it's not something serious". - she sighed out of disappointment, even though she expected something like this to happen. It always does, to Vienna Imogen Costello.
She wanted to cry so bad, but decided against it somehow and she picked up her belongings and went to the place she always loved to go to when she was sad. The supermarket. So she could get tons of food and ice cream and binge eat until she throws up her misery.

-Hey, handsome. Haven't seen you in forever. - Madison threw herself in Ruby's arms and Ruby greeted her with a smile.
-Hey, how are you?
-I'm sine, thanks. I brought us some popcorn, chocolates and movies to watch.
-Awesome, thanks. What do we got here? Hmm.. "Conjuring 2", boriiiing. "Ghostbusters 3", this could be interesting. "Lights out", okay I heard about this one, it should be good.
-Okay, let's watch that one then.
Ruby put on the movie while Mads popped the popcorn in the kitchen. When she was done, the pair plopped down on the sofa and prepared for a movie marathon. Madison glanced at concentrated Ruby every few seconds and then decided to put her arm around Ruby, which the other one accepted. Guilt was burning inside of Rose but the thought of Vienna hugging and probably kissing some other girl made it all go away.
-If she can find somebody else, then so can I.
She didn't know if those were rage or jealousy leading her to doing that, but she turned her head towards Madison, on whose chest her head was leaned on and the girl looked back at her. Moments later their lips collided and they started making out on the huge sofa. It felt right at the moment but all the way back in her head she was hoping one day the person she'd be kissing would be Vienna.
Halfway through the movie the doorbell ringing interrupted the girls.
-You expecting anyone? - Mads asked.
-No, have no idea who it could be. - Ruby excused herself so she could open the door and see who it is. - Be right back. Stay right there. - she winked flirtatiously.
Her eyes widened at the sight of Vienna with smudged makeup standing at her porch. She threw a glance behind herself so she could make sure Madison was nowhere near then she stood at the porch and closed the door behind her.
-Vienna, what are you doing here? - she half whispered, making sure Madison doesn't hear anything. - What happened to your date? - she spat the last part.
-She... Kind of ditched me. But I bought some sweets and ice cream and I was hoping you'd like to hang out. - she laughed through tears.
Ruby couldn't help but feel sorry for the girl and somehow happy that she didn't go on the date, no matter how cruel that sounded. But then guilt washed over, a few minutes ago she was making out with another girl.
Just like a cherry on the top, to make it worse, Madison opened the door and was met with two pairs of widened eyes. - Rubs, baby, who is- oh. Hi.
-Hey. - Vienna greeted her with an even sadder facial expression than before.
-Madison, I thought I told you not to move. Go back inside, I'll handle this. - Ruby said through gritted teeth.
-It took you so long so I wanted to see what's happening. - to make it even worse, she hugged her from behind. - Won't you introduce me?
-Okay. - she sighed. - Vienna, this is Madison. Madison, Vienna.
They shook hands hastily. - I see you've already got company. Sorry for intruding, I better go. - Vienna lowered her head and walked away leaving a broken Ruby and confused Madison behind.
-Come on, let's go back inside. - Madison pulled Ruby by the hand back inside while the blue eyed beauty was looking at Vienna, disappointed at herself for doing what she had done.
When Vienna got back home, she slid down the door of her bedroom to the floor and cried her heart out. This was the second worst night of her life.
