when we got back ashley started living with troy and i went to rubys house, its been about a week since weve all gotten back. tonight ruby and i were going on the ellen show. i was very nervous. i woke up without waking ruby and went to get coffee, i sat at the table sipping and thinking,

"hey baby." she smiles as she walks in the kitchen

"hi, love" i smile at her

"you nervous for tonight?" she asks

"yeah, i didnt sleep last night." i say sipping coffee

i havent been sleeping well, at all since my grandma passed. my nights have been long and my days even longer.

"youll be fine babe, dont even think about it." she smiles

i decided to get ready since we were leaving in an hour

i wore a little black dress with high heels and curled my hair i put some makeup on but mainly mascara, i was ready and i walked in on ruby buttoning her black suit up.

"wow. you look so sexy." she says looking up and down at me

"you look hot." i say kissing her

we both head for the car that was outside waiting for us, we got in and went to the studio

we got there and got hooked up by wires and everything we needed for the show.

"hello everyone and welcome back, im ellen and today we have a very special guest and her girlfriend. ladies and gentleman welcome ruby rose and lia matthews!" ellen introduces

we walk out hand and hand and sit down on her couch,

"wow! you two look amazing!" she says as the crowd lowers

"thank you so much, as do you." ruby says

"so ive heard you and lia have been living together, and i just wanted to ask you is this real?" she laughs

"um, well yes this is real." ruby laughs

"sorry i only as because everyone is saying this isnt a real relationship. and i dont know rumors!" ellen continues

"and lia! looking stunning as always, how are you tonight?"

"aw thank you, im doing well how about yourself?" i say

"great, thank you." she smiles back

"so how did you too meet?"

"umh, funny story actually. we met at one of my shows! she was just so beautiful i couldnt help but spot her from across the room." ruby smiles

thank god she didnt say what actually happened.

"wow, and lia how are you taking all the social media and fans and photographers?"

"well um, i just try to not let it get to me, and i ignore it as best as i can to be quiet honest." i smile

"and ruby how are you feeling about being apart of the new hit show orange is the new black coming out june 18th?!" ellen yells and the crowd goes wild

i had no idea ruby took an acting position? and on one of my favorite shows? how could she not tell me?

"yeah, um im really excited. so ready to start shooting and get going!" she smiles

"lia how are you taking ruby being gone for what? over two months? are you guys spending every second together?"

"yeah, i mean it will be difficult. but shes so good about communicating and really letting me know about everything i dont think the distance will be a problem." i glance over at ruby and then back at ellen

"okay it was great having the two of you here but we have run out of time! thank you again for being on the show with us."

"of course, thank you." "thank you." we both say and blow kisses at the camera before we went off the air we went backstage and i started to get upset.

"when the hell were you planning on telling me your leaving for two months?" i say crossing my arms

"right after i purposed." she smirks

"what.."

ruby got on one knee and asked, "lia matthews, will you marry me?"
