i miss you

i was running down the street with my music blasting and i was looking at the sun rising in the distance. i didnt slow down, i kept running until my phone started to ring.

"hello?" i answer out of breath

"hey baby! why are you awake? i was gonna leave a message!" she laughs

"oh hey babes how are you? yeah i just woke up early i guess."

"hhmm hmm... im alright, the flight was dreadful sorry i didnt call yesterday i had to go down to set and get everything figured out and it was a lot! i miss you a lot!"

"i miss you more. is it cool? do you know your character yet?"

"lia i cant tell you!" she laughs "but i do have my character and shes awesome i love the script."

"oh baby. im so happy for you! look there was actually another thing i wanted to ask..."

"oh my gosh im so sorry i have to go i love you!" she says and the line disconnects

"i love you too." i say to the phone

i plug my head phones in and i start running again. i ran to a cafe about 3 blocks from my house.

"good morning!" the woman smiled

"hi. can i have just a large black coffee please?"

"of course, your total is 4.50"

i paid and grabbed my coffee. i walked out and was on my phone just looking through social media and i saw a picture of ruby and her costar piper from orange is the new black but im not sure of her real name. i liked the picture of them laughing. it was cute, ruby looked so happy and its only been one day with her on set.

i looked up as i ran into a woman on the street

"oh my gosh im so sorry." i say as i drop my coffee on her shoes

"you know? its okay!" she smiles and looks up she was beautiful a short blonde with a little bit of freckles.

"seriosuly i can buy you another pair of shoes of you want." i smile

"oh no need. there just nikes. and i can buy you another coffee im so clumsy and i saw you just walked out!" she face palms

"why dont i buy us both a coffee, and then we call it even?" i smile helping her up off the floor

"okay." she laughs

we walk into the coffee shop and got coffees and sat down at an outside table

"so whats your name?"

"im mimi. well my names emillia but you can call me mimi. whats yours?"

"im lia." i smile

im not gonna lie it was nice to talk to someone, even it was just a complete stranger.

"so what do you do lia?"

"i actually own my own clothing line, the launch is in two weeks." i smile

"whats it called?"

"urban outfitters."

"wow, cute name."

"thanks, what about you?"

"i work for a modeling insdustry in san diego but im here for three months recruiting girls." she smiles looking me up and down "have you ever modeled?"

"oh, um no.. im not the ideal weight and everything." i say looking down

"sure you are. maybe drop a couple pounds and then your ideal." she winks

"really?" i ask hopefully

"yeah. actually in a week were doing a shoot for calvin klein, you should come i would to see you in some of his underwear." she winks and hands me her business card with the address of the shoot on the back

"wow, um thank you. ill be there." i say as she gets up

"thank you for my coffee." she smiles and walks away

i really want to go, it will give me something to do before the launch of my clothing line, and keep me out of the house for a little while.
