"oh, ruby im sorry.... i just... i just got jealous because i miss you so much!" i say grabbing her for a hug

"i miss you too!"

"i cant do this on my own."

"i know, i shouldve been here for you more. i just got caught up with everything." she says holding me tighter.

"but you have to go back out there and launch this beautiful brand youve created. only you lia matthews can go from being a little christian girl living with her family in the suburbs to a fashion designer and model, and now actress!" she smiles

ive never heard anyone put it like that until now, she had a good point. i couldnt believe half the stuff i did in this year either.

"okay." i say and kiss her

i wipe my tears and try my best to fix my makeup. to walk out in front of the hundereds of celebrities waiting for me.

i walk out and straight to the screen where i was suppose to purpose a toast. i get up on the stage and take a deep breath

"hello everyone! thank you so much, for coming tonight to support me in my new beginning as a person and as a fashion designer." i smile

i spot ruby in the crowd of people smiling up at me causing me to blush slightly

"so,, umh.. i just want to say that without my beautiful and caring. supportive, wife ruby. i would not be standing here tonight." i raise my glass of wine and say

"so i hope everyone has a good night and raise a glass to the woman who made tonight possible mimi stevens!" i smile and everyone cheers

as i walk down the stage i am greeted by mimi who grabs me for a hug and i hug back nicely

then i walk to ruby who grabs me for a kiss. she swings me around and the music starts.

everyone around us starts to dance and the photographers go crazy. i was so happy to have ruby home and with me, she was the light of my life.
