Three Years Later

"Drew stop!" I said calmly to the little boy throwing his pancakes on the floor.

"Mommy yes"

"No Drew, Auntie Haley is gonna come and bring Paisley but if you keep throwing your pancakes on the floor,  Momma is gonna tell them no"

"No mommy no"

"Then stop" he nodded his head and ate his pancakes while I picked up the ones on the floor.

Haley knocked on the door and I yelled for her to come in. She set Paisley on the floor as soon as she shut the door and she ran to me.

"Auntie Tay" the three year old yelled.

"Hi PayPay!" I said as she squeezed me as hard as she could.

Drew and Paisley went to play in the living room while Haley and I cleaned up the kitchen.

"Have you talked to Jake?"

"Not since Paisleys party three weeks ago" Haley said washing a plate.

"Nick told Drew he was too tired to stay here anymore"

"Unbelievable. They both were so in love with the kids and us. What happened?"

"Younger, hotter, childless women"

The doorbell rang and I ran to the front door. Kasey's was standing rubbing her about to pop belly.

"Hi!" she screamed. Haley and I screamed also and hugged her. Kasey went to college and got pregnant and visits when she can.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well Jason was in final mode, and I'm done until September, so I decided to come visit"

"Well come in, come in" I ushered her in.

"I heard it's been tough" she said to us as we sat at the table drinking some coffee.

"Mommy I tired" Drew said climbing on my lap.

"Okay sweetie, let's go turn on some cartoons and lay you in mommy's bed" I said walking upstairs to turn on Barney and tuck him in. When he started to fall asleep, I snuck out and went back downstairs.

Haley was laying Paisley in the play pen in the living room, while Kasey was struggling to grab a cup. I ran over a got one down for her while she smiled at me.

"Thank you"

"No problem baby belly" I laughed.

"Well ladies I think we can finally say we did it"

"We got our three year olds down for a nap without any help from our parents or deadbeat boyfriends?" I laughed.
