My eyes opened slowly, adjusting to the bright sun rays shining through the blinds. For a second, I felt a sense of nostalgia wash over me as I thought I was back at Ezra's apartment. That was until I moved my head to the side to find Ezra sitting in the chair next to my hospital bed, holding my hand that had wires attached to it. Nope, still here I thought to myself.

Although we were in a hospital room; one of the least romantic places in the world, I couldn't help but feel total adoration as I looked into his eyes. No matter where we were, whenever my eyes connected with his or whenever our hands interlocked, it put my mind at ease almost immediately. I loved being in his presence. I loved to feel his touch against my skin. I loved him.

"Good afternoon sleepy head," He said stroking my hand gently with his thumb, "How was your sleep?"

"Great, thank you. How long was I sleeping for?" I asked.

"About two hours, look who's here." He replied nodding towards the other side of the room.

I turned my head to find Spencer, Emily and Hanna stood on the opposite side of the bed to where Ezra was sitting. I couldn't prevent my lips from forming into a huge grin as I caught sight of them; my best friends.

"Hey guys, I'm so happy you're here!" I claimed, still expressing a huge smile.

"We're happy to be here too, we were so worried about you!" Hanna said embracing me into a hug.

"Ezra told us about everything whilst you were sleeping! I'm so glad that you're not seriously hurt, and that the baby is OK." Emily said.

"Yeah, I can't believe I was so clumsy,0 I said whilst laughing, "Anyways, did I miss anything at school?"

"Not really, it was pretty boring today," Spencer said shrugging her shoulders.

"Good. I hate missing school because when I do, I always seem to miss something super important." I replied.

"Aw, you're such a good student. I love skipping school!" Hanna said smiling widely.

Ezra couldn't help but let out a sigh at Hanna's comment. I just shook my head.

Hanna gasped slightly as though she came to the sudden realisation that there was in fact a teacher in the room.

"Um, I mean, schools awesome... Yeah, skipping school is such a bad thing to do..." Hanna said trying to cover her tracks

"Hanna, you do make me laugh." Ezra said laughing slightly.

"What can I say?" Hanna replied with a smile.

Hanna always managed to put a smile on my face, even during times like this, when I'm quite literally laying in a hospital bed.

"Anyway, Aria are you sure that you are OK?" Spencer asked raising her eyebrows slightly.

"Yes, Spence. Or at least, I think so. My back hurts a little though I guess," I answered.

"Nothing that a pain killer can't solve though, right?" Emily asked.

"I hope not, but I have to stay another night just to make sure everything is completely OK." I said with a sigh.

"That sucks," Emily said.

"Yeah, I just wanna get home and in my own bed again." I replied with a groan.

Hanna smirked and she tried to hold herself back from laughing.

"Hanna shut up..." I said through gritted teeth, trying not to laugh at her dirty mind. The other girls were now laughing, meanwhile Ezra just looked confused.
