Keep It A Secret

Ivy's POV

The kiss came out of nowhere, taking me completely by surprise. It's a lot shorter than our first kiss but just as lovely.

When he pulls away he smiles at me and I can feel my face heat up.

"Distraction enough?" He smirks.

"What distraction? The only thing I could think of was you being an idiot." Did I just flirt with him? I really have become weird.

"You're begging for it aren't you?" He whispers before kissing me again. He grabs my cheek with one hand, letting the other one stay on my waist. I melt into the kiss.

He pulls away too soon. I pout and he chuckles quietly at my face.

"We need to keep this a secret don't we?" He asks. I guess he's thinking about the competition and thinks I don't know anything about it.

"I guess we do. But I don't mind." I smile and he smirks, earning a light slap from me. I look quickly at the others and sigh in relief when I see no one noticed.

"You know you can tell me anything right?" Nick asks in a quiet whisper, as if he is afraid to say it.

"I know and I'm grateful for that. As for the fact that you don't push me to tell you what happened." I smile at him and I can see him smiling shyly.

When the credits were rolling I didn't want to get up. I was comfortable where I was sitting in Nick's lap and I was starting to feel sleepy.

Nick's POV

Ivy is looking so cute, oh my gosh what do I do? She has fallen asleep in my lap and she has snuggled up in a ball. She is too cute for me to handle. I bow down to kiss her head.

I hear a click and my head snaps up. I see Lauren chuckle at my fast reaction and I see her phone in her hand.

"What? I couldn't not take a picture." She laughs and puts her phone away.

"Nah, it's okay. Just send it to me please." I smirk and Lauren laughs even more. Suddenly I hear a whimper and I look back down at the petite girl sleeping in my lap. Her face looks troubled even though she is still sleeping. Is she having a bad dream? I hug her bit tighter and she seems to calm down.

"I need to get home. It's was really nice day and see you tomorrow!" Nino gets up from the couch. "Dan do you want to walk the same way? Didn't your aunt and uncle live on the same street as mine?" Nino turns to the tall boy who scrambles up.

"Yeah they do, I should get home too." Dan looks at the clock and yawns a little.

"I should go too. Alex, Chris, wanna tag along?" Andrew stands up as does Alex.

"Sure. Thanks for the evening sweetie." Alex kisses Lauren who stood up after him. Chris gets up too and stretches a bit but seems as happy as always.

"Bye, get home safely and see you all tomorrow." Lauren hugs everyone and walks them to the door. I hear the door close and Lauren comes back to the living room.

"Shouldn't you get going too Nick?" Lauren asks me.

"I should but I don't wanna wake her up, she looks too peaceful.. Too cute." I look down at the sleeping girl and my eyes are full of adoration and I know Lauren is squealing in the back.

Ivy starts to whimper again and the sounds grow louder. Suddenly she shrieks and jolts awake. She tries to get out of my grip but I turn her head so that she's facing me.

"Ivy, it's me, Nick. You're okay, you're safe. Everything is fine. You can calm down." I can see that it takes a while for her to process my words since she just woke up but soon she stopps struggling and seems to calm down. Her eyes are still bolting around the room in panic and I feel her shaking and can hear small sniffles. I hug her against my chest and rock her slowly back and forth to calm her. "It's okay, you're okay. Everything is fine, it was just a bad dream. It was just a bad dream." She seems to calm down since the shaking stops and I can't hear but a few sniffles here and there.
