"Nifa. Thanks for working with the transmission throughout the night." Levi thanked one of our comrades, the girl wiping her mouth and thanking him for the praise. "Cut to the chase and tell everyone what Erwin said." "But . . . What about them?" She asked, looking to Reeves. "They're from the Reeves corporation, it's fine speak." Levi said, me leaning against the wall and watching quietly. Levi had made some sort of deal with this guy . . . So for the now, I will trust him. "It's no problem leaving my seat sir." Reeves said, standing from his seat on the bench. "No, stay and listen. That's what we agreed, right? Not to hide anything. I am trusting in you." Levi replied, crossing his arms over his chest. "Huh? You're trusting in my brat here who I just introduced today?" Reeves said, rubbing a the boys head who sits beside him. "If it's someone from the Reeves company, then of course. Flegel, was it? I welcome you." "You're Levi, was it? If you'd really like to make a welcome, shouldn't you be putting out some tea?" The smart-ass asked, his father automatically pushing his head down to bow. "I'm sorry! I've been taking him around to functions with the intent of having him take over for me someday . . . He's been spoiled so he still acts like a child. We'll leave and you can just tell us what we need to do afterwards." "No." I said, speaking up. The fat man looked over to me, his eyes wide at the sound of my voice. I surely have scared him twice since we have entered an alliance. He is lucky we are on the same team now. "We'll listen together here. This concerns not only the Reeves company, but the fate of this world. Which is why your power, and your trust, is important." It was silent for a moment, everyone waiting for his response. "Understood. We'll stay, so please continue." Reeves said, letting his son's head go. "Well then, it's in regard to Historia ascending the throne as queen." Nifa said, our squadron whispering and confused. "We have neglected to tell our team . . . but it appears that the current Fritz royal house is just standing in for the real royal family. The true royal family is the Reiss family." Krista's eyes went wide, not believing this at all. I knew this fact for a long time, but I didn't know that Krista bore the name Historia Reiss. I would have told Levi this information earlier if I had known it was going to be important. Armin put his hand up, "We heard something allowing Historia to ascend the throne as queen, but . . . What is the main objective of this mission?" "Exactly, Historia, your thoughts?" Levi said, walking closer to her as she stammered that she can't and that it is impossible for her to do so. "Right? Being told all of a sudden to become the most authoritative figure amongst the people of this world. After all, there aren't very many people . . . Who would possibly answer right away 'yes that's fine'. But none of that is important, do it." Levi said, right in her face. "I couldn't possibly do it." "You don't want to?" "I couldn't possibly . . ." She stammered again, Levi grabbing her by the collar and lifting her up off the ground, even though he is shorter than her. "Understood. Then Run away." "Captain?!" Our crew called, Jean who is standing beside me looking to me with worry. "It's fine. He won't do anything too rash." I assured him. "Run away from us with all of your power and we'll also use all our power to capture you, and use whatever means necessary to make you obey. It seems this is your fate. If you dislike that, then fight. Try to defeat me." He dropped her to the ground, the girl coughing and gasping for air. "Historia." Sasha said, bending down beside her and putting her hands on her back. "You didn't have to do that!" Eren exclaimed, his eyes wide with surprise. He didn't expect Levi to use such brute force on a girl. "What do you guys think you're doing tomorrow? That you're going to eat your meals tomorrow? That you'll be able to get enough sleep again tomorrow, is that what you're thinking? That the person next to you, will still be there tomorrow?" Levi asked, all of the scouts listening at this point. "I don't think that and normal people don't think that every day either. Which is to say, I'm not normal, I'm an aberrant person. I think It's because I have seen to many abnormal things. But if tomorrow, wall rose were to be broken. In such abnormal circumstances I can respond faster than anyone and fight. Even if that hell were to begin again tomorrow. You've seen it with your own eyes. Who can say that it won't be tomorrow? However, as much as we want to prevent this from happening . . . There are people who want to get in our way. I'm fine playing the aberrant who would murder all of those people. And this may very well require beating people until they are unrecognizable, because I would choose the hell of people killing one another rather the hell of being devoured by titans. Because at the very least, all of humanity won't need to take part in it. However, if we were able to hold true authority in this world, then perhaps those who would have died can instead can survive. That's pretty good right. It's all up to you Historia. Will you follow. Will you fight? They're both fine, so pick one. However, THERE IS NO TIME, SO DECIDE NOW." He yelled at her, the girl screaming that she'll do it. "My, next role is to be queen right. I'll do it, please leave it to me." I pushed off of the wall and walked over to her, holding my hand out. "All right." I said with a smile, the blond girl putting her hand in mine and letting me help her to stand. "We're counting on you Historia." I said to her, knowing that she's made the right choice. She may be scared now, but things will surely get better.
