I hum along quietly as I twisted my paintbrush to the left, then to the right; creating a swirl like pattern for the clouds in my landscape. After resting for another two days, I was finally back to my normal self. I'm just happy that I am not tired all the time. I smiled quietly to myself; I had lied to Levi and told him that I still felt unwell, to get out of cleaning duty. We have been placed into the old Survey Corps HQ. It is practically placed in the middle of nowhere; far from the walls or river, but surrounded by forest. This scenery actually makes me feel more at home. I brushed my hair back then stood back, looking at my ocean scene. I have painted two canvases already, one of a younger and older version of myself together and another of the forest. In this big castle I am sure I can find a good place to hang them. "Aoi!" Petra said, her eyes darting back and fourth quickly. "What?" I asked nervously, seeing that she looks uneasy about something. "Corporal Levi is heading down here. He caught drift that you are skipping out on cleaning. . . And you've made a mess of his office." "Our office." I corrected, moving away from the painting and out the door. Since I have been promoted, Erwin thought it would be a good idea for Levi and I to work closer. Therefore, our offices got mixed together. Even though we are Survey corps, we still have a lot of paperwork to do. "Cover me." I said to her as I walked swiftly down the hall. "AZURE!" his booming voice called. I heard a slight shuffle, as Petra attempted to keep him at bay, but of course she couldn't. I flinched and sped up, hoping that he wouldn't be able to catch me. I swung a left and ended up in a courtyard. I screeched as I got lifted off my feet and dropped into a horse water feeder. I shivered and broke the surface of the water, shooting Levi a glare. "Why did you do that?" I asked. "You skipped out on duties again. You deserved it." Levi replied coldly. He also probably did it because I have a large amount of paint in my hair. He hates when I make a mess. "At least help me out." I pleaded, giving him sad eyes. This got to him. He sighed and took my outstretched hand tightly. "Fine, maybe I went a bit too. . ." He didn't get to finish his sentence as I had pulled him into the bin of water. I managed to jump out just before his wet hands were able to grab me and darted towards Erwin and Eren who are walking in this direction. "Help! The titan is going to eat me!" I screamed, hiding behind Eren as I could hear Levi's wet footsteps against the grass. "Hey now, take it easy." Erwin said with a slight laugh, stopping Levi from coming any closer than an arms length of me. "That bitch!" He yelled around the taller man. I snickered then stuck my tongue out at him. "You started it." "What are you a little kid?" Eren asked me with hopeless kind of sigh. "Yup!" I exclaimed, dodging quickly to the right as Levi had gotten around our tall leading officer. Although he didn't exacly evade him completly as Erwin grabbed him by the back of the collar and held him in place. "You two go and clean yourselves up. You have some work to attend to." I flashed him a peace sign then bowed. "Hai! I'll get on it right away!" I exclaimed, skipping off to take a shower. I could hear Levi yelling after me but I ignored him. I have some paperwork to attend to. . .

"Are you going to clean up that mess?" Levi asked, looking up from his desk to my paint mess. "I will later." I replied, scribbling away with my quil, trying to get this letter done. The messenger will be here soon and I have to finish this proposal for the council. "You always say that." He said, getting up from his chair. My eyebrows wrinkled as I got stuck on what to say next. I am nearly done, I just need a concluding sentence. I need permission from those in the interior to agree to let us preform some tests on Eren. Since Levi and I are in charge of him, Zoe cannot write the proposal; even if she is the one coming up with all the crazy ideas. . . I finally thought of something and wrote it quickly before I forgot. My loopy signature signed the bottom of the paper then I held it out to Levi who is standing at the desk. "Sign it." "Since when do I take orders from you?" He asked, taking my quil out of my hands. I rolled my eyes then snatched it from him once his signature was done and stamped it closed with the official Survey corps logo. "Since never. You don't listen to me." I replied, getting up and going to run and take this to the messanger who is probably already here. I nearly made it to the door, but got caught at the waist by a stong pair of arms. My eyes widened and I turned to look at him. His face was as placid as always, but his eyes watched me with great intensity. "I do listen to you." "Ha. Since when?" "Don't play with me Aoi, or I will have to punish you." He only used my real name if he was serious about something. This made me worried, is he angry at me for some reason? I play around with him all the time. Since I entered the Survey corps, Levi was my play toy. He was the only one I truely felt happy to be with. . . By the time I realized it, Levi's face was very close to mine, his lips just lingering over mine. I made a squeaking noise as the door swung open. I practically jumped half way across the room but was relieved that it was just Erwin. "The messenger is looking for you. He has a message." "For who?" Levi asked, his voice calm as if nothing had happend. "For Aoi. From Darius." I nodded then excused myself from the room, running down the hall as fast as my feet could carry me. What made Levi try that? Why would he make a move on me if he knows that I like Eren. . .
