Chapter 6

Janet's POV

I looked at the young girl and Rene I was so confused.

Janet: Rene who is this

Rene: Uh.... This is Tiffany.

She looked real shy and nervous. I just stood there but then came back to reality.

Janet: Sorry nice to meet you. ("Shaking her hand")

Tiffany: Nice to meet you to.

I looked at Rene

Janet: Rene can I talk to you in the living room please.

Rene: Yes

We walked to the living room and I looked at him.

Janet: Rene what the hell is going on that girl looks half your age

Rene: Its not like that. Its actually far from what you think.

I looked at him.

Janet: What do you mean.

Rene: Don't you see it in her face Jan.

Janet: See what!

Rene: that she looks like you.

Janet: What are you saying Rene

Rene: That's our daughter Janet.

My eyes widen as I looked at him. I felt like my hart fell into my stomach. I sat back on the couch and finally got the words to come out

Janet: What! How? No thats impossible. Why did you bring her here. Why are you doing this.

Rene: Calm down. Look since she was 2 I've been in her life. The family you gave her to the father died. The mother didn't have any money and she was terrified to ask you so she came to me ever since then I've been there for her. When she got older and figured out her biological mother is Janet Jackson she begged me to meet you but I said no. Since she was 7 years old she has watched you learned all your songs all your dances. She wanted to be exactly like you Jan.

I sat there going crazy. Everything he was saying was hitting me hard in the gut. I looked up at him.

Janet: I I don't understand. So during are whole relationship/marriage you were taking care of her. Are you telling me that the child that we gave away is standing in our kitchen.

Rene: Yes

I got up and smacked the shit out of him.

Janet: Why are you doing this to me. Why now!

Rene: She wanted to meet you Jan. (Holding his face)

I walked away from him and went into the kitchen. I quickly changed my attitude and put a smile on my face. Tiffany was at the table talking with everyone but they all turned to me when I walked in.

Ana: Is everything okay

I sat in the seat next to Ana.

Janet: Everything is fine.

I pulled out my phone and got a text from mike

Mike: Did you double up on security

Janet: Not exactly. We need to talk its urgent.

Mike: I'm coming over be there soon.

Janet: Wait no don't come I'll come to you.

Mike: To late I'm already in your area. Be there in 2 mins.

I looked at my phone and looked up. Fuck. Michael is going to freak out. Its too late to get everyone out Now. Not long I heard the door bell ring. Ana got up to answer it.

Michaels POV

I knocked on Janet's door and Ana opened it.

Ana: Mike what a pleasant surprised

Mike: You didn't know I was coming.

We hugged as I walked in the house.

Ana: No Janet didn't mention it.

I followed her into the kitchen and when I got there I seen a kitchen full of people and one of them being Rene.

Mike: What the fuck is this.

Janet: Mike listen. Let's go talk.

Mike: Yeah

We walked out the kitchen as Janet told me the story about Rene and told me that the stranger in her kitchen can possibly be her daughter.

Mike: Wait what is this a joke. What is Rene up to

Janet: I have no idea.

Mike: I thought I told you to double up on security not invite the devil in.

Janet: I know i don't know what I was thinking I shouldnt of never let Ana talk me into this.

Mike: Wait Ana ? You didn't tell her about him?

Janet: No I haven't.

Mike: Are you serious Jan. Look you have to tell her and we need to figure this out. We need to talk to Rene and that girl.

Ana's POV

Tiffany: So you and Janet are in like a real relationship.

Ana: Uh Yeah we are.

Tiffany: Interesting.

I looked at her. Who is this chick. Then walks in Michael and Janet.

Mike: Rene and um tiffany right. Can we speak to you two in private please.

I looked at them both. What in the hell is going on. Before she turned and left I grabbed Janet's arm.

Ana: What's going on.

Janet: Not now Ana

She snatched away from me and walked off. They all went into the back room and closed the door. I looked at Shawn, Kelly , and Gil and we all seemed confused.

Kelly: Well okay then y'all got a lot of weird shit going on so we are gonna head out.

They all got up and I hugged them as they all left. I went back into the kitchen and began to clean up. I was a little upset that I was kept out of the loop. What was really going on. I started to get mad. All I've been doing is being there for Janet and she still keeping secrets. After I got done cleaning the kitchen I grabbed my purse an keys and left out. I drove down to the little smoothie shop and got a smoothie. As I sat down I picked up the magazine on the stand and looked through it then I heard a familiar voice say my name. I looked up surprise.

Ana: TINA!
