-Scarlett's POV-
I was cuddled up in a little ball small enough to fit in Tyde's arms. I opened my eyes slowly and saw him laying there still asleep. I smiled and nestled closer to him, trying to fall back to sleep myself. "Jade..." I heard someone whisper.
I opened my eyes and sat up slowly so I wouldn't wake up Tyde. I looked around, no one was here.
"Jade, over here." I turned around and saw my mum standing there. I gasped and jumped back, I was on my feet now.
"Mu..mum?" I mumbled.
"Don't be scared, it's only me." She walked closer to me and ran her hand through my hair. "So pretty, who's that?" She asked turning to Tyde.
"That's um, that's Tyde. He's my boyfriend."
She walked over to his sleeping body and eyed him closely. "Cute boy.
"Mum, I thought you were..."
"Kill him." My mum interrupted.
"What?"
"You heard me. Kill him. The same way you killed your father."
"No, no I'm not going to kill my boyfriend!"
"Jade, you must!"
"No! No you can't make me!"
"Then why do you already have the gun in your hand."
I looked down at my hand, I shook my head, "No, you made this thing appear!" She didn't answer, "I'm not going to kill him. But I'll kill someone else." I lifted the gun and held it against my forehead.
My mum stood up, "Pull the trigger. See what happens." She said calmly.
I did what I was told, nothing happened. I brought the gun down to look at it but instead it began to move towards Tyde.
"What? No, cut it out!" I yelled. My finger was moving itself towards the trigger. I tried everything I could to move it away, but nothing seemed to work. "STOP! STOP I DONT WANT TO KILL HIM!"
BANG!
I sat up quickly and tried to catch my breath. Sweat was dripping down my forehead and everything around me was spinning. I looked down at my hand for blood, they were clean but trembling.
"Scarlett." Someone whispered.
I almost yelled at the sound. I looked over next to me, Tyde was sitting there.
"Tyde?" I whispered.
"Yeah, what's wro..." before he could finished the sentence I wrapped my arms around him and brought him closer to me. He hugged me aswell even though he was confused.
Everything kept replaying in my mind, the whole dream was scary and I still couldn't snap out of it.-Tydes POV-
"Tyde..." Scarlett whispered.
"Yes?" I said in her ear.
"Promise you won't leave me. Promise that you'll always be there for me. That you'll protect me."
She was crying. It was the first time I've ever heard her cry, she was a really tough girl. What she said hit me like a truck. Whatever just went on really effected her. Effected her so much that she was asking me for help.
My grip on her tightened and I nodded. "I promise Scarlett." She let go of me and I just carried her in my arms. Her eyes were blood shot and puffy. I could tell that she was tired, she went back to sleep while I carried her. I kissed the top of her forehead and whispered, "I'll always be there for you. Because...I love you."A.n, sorry this is a really short chapter. I was going to put it in my last chapter but it didn't really flow to me. I was also going to make the chapter a little longer by adding my upcoming chapter onto it. But because it was so different from any other chapter I've written, I thought I would be best just to do it solo. Thanks and I hope you're enjoying the story so far!
