Reversal of Fortune

I allowed my sisters to escort me to safety........I watched from afar as the power was restored.....the white light witches had prevailed....at least in this universe.....

"You thought your power was strong enough to beat me Therese...and I must admit to being surprised at your tactic"

"Tactic?"

"Yes.....betraying your own kind....handing victory to us"

"It might seem unusual for you but I foresaw a future with our kind in control and it didn't bode well.....have your victory....it wont last long"

I must have been putting up a convincing performance because I was not questioned.....a few of the witches nodded their heads in agreement and then smiled.....it puzzled me to think that this universe was the exact opposite to our own....everything was the same but in reverse and I was the leader of the black light witches...it did beg the question....what became of my other self?

The three strongest black light witches.....myself....christina....aster were brought forward for judgement.

"As penance for this outrage it would be my solemn duty to banish the three of you from this realm.....however there is hope for redemption and I offer the three of you something even more monstrous in return for your lives"

I looked at Christina and Aster......I saw the fear in there eyes.

"Get it over with Michelle"

"Very well......you can be banished from here and spend eternity in the off world.....trapped between realities....or renounce yourselves as black light witches and become one with us"

I once again looked at Christina and Aster.....it was clear which choice they were going to make......I could imagine that any witch who betrayed there heritage would suffer eternal damnation in the afterlife......they would refuse.

"We need time to consider this....you ask us to give up our very existence"

"Therese........I don't do this out of malice but the black light witches have proven to be evil and you have committed acts of destruction against us that should never be forgiven.....as the leader of the white light I offer this as a hope of salvation and trust between our peoples"

"Leave us.....we need time"

"Don't take too long.....my horde want revenge.....they want your bodies for trophies"

I took a moment to consider.....the vision that I had.....it had given me all the knowledge of this universe......in effect white was black and black was white.....so it was the white light who were the evil ones and we were the protectors.....obviously they saw themselves as the good Samaritans and us the destroyers.

I called Christina and Aster into my thoughts.

"I know how you feel sisters.....you do not want to betray your heritage.....and we wont.....but you know my strength.....we must become like them until the time is right"

Christina turned to me and with her thoughts..

"I am a loyal servant.....the decision I accept....I cannot disobey you"

I turned to Aster and she nodded....it was decided.
