I took out my phone and rang Christina.

I was a little apprehensive….Christina turned to me and nodded.

“We must trust them….we came to Australia to make a new life….we have been betrayed and will never be free”

I held her hand and we walked to the centre of the pentancle….Tabitha took my right hand and one of her followers took the left hand of Christina.

All four of us closed our eyes….and then I felt it…..a snake that adorned her writs moved across to my own….then to Christina.

“You may open your eyes”

We did as she asked…..I felt a surge of energy….I could feel my power returning.

“Now you must summon Therese…..Michelle will be aware of this ritual”

The two of us joined hands and concentrated….we called her name.

Nothing.

“Could she be beyond our control?”

Tabitha took my hand and we tried again.

Again nothing happened.

I watched as Tabitha crossed to speak with an elderly witch….she came back to speak with me….her face was grave.

“According to scans….neither Therese or Michelle are on the planet….they have vanished into thin air”
