Frozen Time

I said my goodbyes to everyone....It was time.

Marissa came forward and we embraced.

"If there was any other way"

"Has it been decided whom I shall replace?"

"Yes......the school that Therese Jakobssen is teaching at....the Principal of the school is suffering from depression and about to go on extended leave"

"What is her name?"

"Cindy Thompson"

"Ok good....so will I inhabit her personality?"

"You will get a basic imprint....but it will be you that controls her form"

I had most of the information that I needed....there was just one more snippet that I required.

"What is my mission?"

Marissa looked around the council of ministers and also at my parents.

"We didn't tell you because attempts were made to determine the course of this time line"

"Does that mean that I have a new directive?"

"Yes.......once you have found Therese.....befriend her....develop a relationship with her"

"Relationship.....is this Cindy a lesbian?"

"Yes.....and so is Therese"

I had been a member of the temporal agency forever and sex was a long forgotten concept.....such words as lesbian were also a part of myth and legend.

"How will I do this?"

"Once you inhabit the body.....part of her that is connected to her sexual identity will be present within you"

I must admit to a little.....excitement.

"How will this work........how do I get into this time line?"

"Basically we will suspend time.....it will allow for the transition from Cindy Thompson to happen to you........then time will restart"

"Im ready"

Marissa moved over to the console and prepared to activate the program which would initiate transfer......just as she reached for the button.

"What do I do after making contact with Therese....If I attempt to have a relationship with her.....how will that repair the timelines?"

Marissa signalled to my parents......they approached me.

"There is a very slim chance that you will be returned to us.....in order for this to happen you will have one thing that you must do"

"What is that?"

"You must kill Therese Jakobssen"
